    Finance Intern

    Job Purpose:

    • The Finance Intern is accountable for the financial processing of transactions according to the required controls and accounting principles.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    Creditors        

    • Daily Processing of purchase orders.
    • Daily processing of supplier invoices.
    • Loading of supplier banking details in respect of supplier payments for approval
    • Processing of corporate credit transactions
    • Preparing monthly or daily payment reconciliations
    • Processing of petty cash transactions
    • Assisting in BEE certificate collection and updating the supplier database

    Fixed Assets  

    • Acquisition of assets on D365
    • Disposal of assets on D365

    Debtors          

    • Assisting with unidentified receipt queries
    • Assisting in loading bank details for refunds
    • Processing of billing adjustments on D365

    Minimum Requirements:

    Qualifications

    • Matric/Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) with accounting as a subject
    • Qualification in Finance – Diploma/Degree (Advantageous)

    Experience

    • No experience required.

    Student Wellness Manager

    Job Purpose:

    • The online Student Wellness Manager is accountable for overseeing the overall psychosocial wellbeing of distance learning students through providing counselling services, social education and awareness programmes and life skills development.

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    Counselling

    • Implementation of on-site primary counselling services, trauma containment & crisis management
    • Marketing & Promotion of the service to students
    • Maintaining of case files and counselling statistics within SACSSP/HPCSA standards

    Community Engagement (CE)

    • Create a campus specific planner for CE projects and manage the implementation thereof for each site
    • Ensure the active functioning of the CE committee of the Student Council
    • Monitor, evaluate and analyse projects to inform future planning & measure impact of projects

    Management of the Student Council

    • Plan and implement the SC election process
    • Provide enough training, team building and development opportunities for the SC
    • Ensure the active participation and engagement of SC members in campus life through the various committees, portfolios, meetings and other related activities as per the SC process

    Social Awareness & Education

    • Design and Plan effective Social Awareness & Education Campaigns aimed at addressing campus specific needs
    • Manage the effective implementation of such programmes
    • Evaluation and analysis of Programmes to inform future planning

    Reporting

    • Fortnightly Reporting on all KPAs
    • Consolidated Semester Reporting
    • Completion of all online tracking systems
    • Update graduate database

    Requirements:

    • NQF Level 8 Qualification in Social work or counselling psychology
    • NQF Level 9 Qualification in Social work or counselling psychology (Advantageous)
    • Registration as a Social Worker with the SACSSP or a registered Counsellor or Psychologist with the HPCSA
    • 1 – 2 years of face-to-face counselling experience, post-qualification
    • 2-3 years’ experience working with the youth.
    • Comfortable using technology for uploading and accessing client files.
    • Availability on evenings and weekends is considered a plus.
