    Product Quality Operations Lead

    Key Tasks and Responsibilities

    • Manages Product Quality activities related to product specifications, inspection plans, product placement, seed batch usage decisions/release, product recall & substitution, securing seed stewardship & compliance.
    • Plans and develops Product Quality strategy in accordance with regulatory needs, business growth strategy and customer needs in close connections with the stakeholders focusing on the overall Mission objectives and Strategic Business Plan.
    • Collaborates with Breeding, Pre-Foundation, Production Research, Seed Applied solutions, Product Teams, One Management, Data and Digital to ensure superior Quality products are designed and Participate in PMT providing feedback for Quality improvements, tools and innovations
    • Designs and safeguards communication of non-conforming Outputs related to production process, manufacturing process, product preservation, inspection plans and release that could represent a significant risk to customers, business and/or seed Supply challenges. 
    • Aligns on RSA Quality strategy across the Mission teams, business initiatives and imperatives including movement, testing plans, release, preservation and carry over management.
    • Develops and Manages cost managements initiatives related to Quality and defines reliability innovations in collaboration with the RC mission team - Resource allocation, flows & Quality decision rights for efficiency. 
    • Trains RC Mission and Supply Chain Mission teams incorporating Customer Facing and Customer facing support Squads on Quality specifications & preservation in addition to complaint management
    • Leads complaint management and investigation for timely, accurate resolution and reporting ensuring best customer experience and liaise with One Management Systems for complaint management tools and trainings.
    • Collaborates with Stewardship and relevant stakeholders for effective incident reporting, visibility, investigations and prevention to safeguard our License to Operate
    • Delivers Value through RFT (Right the First Time and FEFO deployment improving the Quality of our Inventory through Prioritization and contribute to managing DNO/WOFFS and forecasting.
    • Contributes to the continuous improvement of the Production and Reliability Programs and be a change leader for continuous improvement and optimization programs, secure effective corrective actions implementation.
    • Designs product and Product Quality Reports/metrics periodically and ad hoc by collating, analyzing, and summarizing info & trends and recommending improvement plans within the RSA Mission Teams.
    • Plans and organizes grow-outs to guarantee Complete Seed certification and release collaborating with production and Quality Testing to secure batch final certification with SANSOR

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Bachelors' degree/master’s in agriculture, Seed Technology, Agronomy or related fields
    • Must have 7+ years' experience in Seed Production, Manufacturing and Quality management
    • Possesses Quality Management system and audit skills.
    • Communication and Reporting skills including data analytics.
    • Good understanding on Seed Regulations in the country, ISTA rules and OECD seed schemes
    • Ability to work cross-functionally within an organization 
    • Ability to lead with informal authority and authentic team leader.
    • Self-motivated, strategic thinker and Systematic in approach.

    Channel Strategy RSA

    Key Task and Responsibilities:

    • Continuously monitor opportunities for improvement or change the Route to Market Strategies across Africa to adjust to market, customer, channel or portfolio dynamics.
    • Lead the Market Funding work stream for the entire cluster Africa
    • Channel Business Steering Processes (budgets, contracts, stock tracking tools, training and oversight)
    • Develop, Enhance and Coordinate Channel Segmentation across clusters  
    • Develop Channel Strategy for the next 5 years (Selection, Coordination and Partnership)
    • Design 12 months implementation plan (fully incorporated through GTM Plan & Pull Activities)
    • Assess current footprint geographically and proposed new resources allocation for the Customer Facing Units
    • Manage the channel prioritization process along with customer facing teams to deliver channel optimization
    • Develop new solutions such as financial models to drive our portfolio and technology platform
    • Secure a reliable channel and sales insights intelligence to drive our CFS strategies across crops

    Qualifications and Competencies:

    • Tertiary qualifications in Agronomy, Marketing, Business or related fields.
    • Minimum 10 years sales, marketing and/or agronomic experience.
    • Experience in CRM, data management and analytics is preferred.
    • Agricultural background, experience in the seed, crop protection and/or biotechnology industry is preferred.
    • Good Microsoft Office skills (Excel / Power Point / Word) a prerequisite. Specific experience with MS Excel necessary. 
    • Highly motivated, creative, dynamic and well organized.
    • Good business and strategic acumen required.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Fluent in English, oral and written, is required.
    • Customer centric and market oriented. 
    • Experience with project planning and execution
    • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with associated deadlines for deliverable results.
    • Proven ability to influence effectively in a diverse organization and works well in teams.

    Radiology Medical Advisor

    Key tasks & responsibilities

    Strategic contribution

    • Responsible and accountable for driving the localisation of the global medical and brand strategy, by using local / cluster field insights and partnering with both local / cluster cross-functional teams and regional teams.
    • Responsible and accountable for using cross-functional knowledge to create medical multichannel campaigns: including content development, multichannel strategy and the customer journey.
    • Responsible and accountable for driving a strategic partnership with local / cluster cross-functional teams.
    • Accountable for driving the medical strategy by translating the global, regional, and cluster / local medical plans into implementable TL engagement strategies with cross-functional teams

    Data collection, analysis and interpretation

    • Accountable for providing medical support to clinical trial teams on subjects related to interventional clinical trials including feasibility & initiation visits.
    • Accountable and responsible for managing study-related medical activities for Interventional Post-Approval Trials (IPAT), Observational Studies (OS) and Investigator Initiated Research (IIR) as required locally or within the cluster.
    • Responsible for reviewing and interpreting interaction analytics related to TL engagement and take appropriate actions.
    • Responsible and accountable for keeping abreast with latest scientific research on therapeutic area and competitors

    Managing external relationships

    • Responsible for fostering strong partnerships across allocated territories and play the role of ‘trusted advisor’ and ‘conductor’ to shape and synergize to reach win-win outcomes
    • Responsible and Accountable for identifying the right TLs to engage and maintain a current list with up-to-date segmentations as per global definitions.
    • Responsible and Accountable for generating TL insights, document and communicate them to cross-functional teams to inform tactics and strategy
    • Responsible and Accountable for implementing TL engagement strategies by building an understanding of Thought Leaders, fostering TL relationships and disseminating customer / patient-centric insights and data, whilst leveraging on various digital and physical channels to engage TLs with focused content 

    Medical educational programs

    • Accountable for providing scientific contributions to the development and implementation of Bayer organised national, regional, cluster and local medical educational programs (e.g. Continuing Medical Education programs). 
    • Internal support:
    • Responsible and accountable for providing medical support on internal projects across the cluster  e.g. pre-launch activities, reimbursement processes, dossier development, commercial campaigns etc. 
    • Responsible for aligning with internal functions to review Professional Information responsibilities including translations and updates.
    • Responsible and accountable for proactively ensuring that Bayer medical activities are in-line with relevant guidelines, regulations and legislations.
    • Responsible for providing scientific education and training to cross-functional partners across the cluster (e.g. Sales and Marketing) on product data, therapeutic area knowledge, and clinical operations and clinical development studies.
    • Responsible and accountable for scientifically reviewing and approving therapeutic area/product related materials (for in country and / or cluster), external communications (for in country and / or cluster) and advising cross-functionally using medical/scientific expertise.

    • Responsible for documenting and processing medical Information queries in alignment with country / cluster Medical Information handling procedures

    Experiences / background

    • Strong scientific/ medical background. 
    • Desirable previous experience of being a Medical Scientific Liaison / Medical Scientific Advisor in industry or other Medical Department’s roles.
    • Strong skills in managing stakeholders and experienced in building networks. 
    • Business Acumen displaying ability to operate cross-functionally, driving organizational growth, understanding of marketing/sales functions in pharma industry. 
    • Desirable experience contributing to an organization’s strategic endeavours, displaying industry/market knowledge.
