    Sit Technician Manager

    Job Summary:

    • To coordinate, plan and manage the accounting and financial activities of an organization. The incumbent collaborates with operations and finance in analyzing the commercial stability of the hospital facility.

     Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    • Electrical / Mechanical Diploma / N6 / S4
    • National Trade Certificate
    • 5+ years’ relevant work experience.
    • Hospital experience is non-negotiable.

     Minimum Job Requirements:

    • Facilities and Machinery maintenance
    • Conduct daily checks on all hospital machinery and equipment to ensure all are working well.
    • Perform new electrical installations and upgrades on existing machinery and equipment.
    • Supervise and monitor the work of outsourced services / contractors.
    • Inspect work performed and ensure work is performed according to CHG standards.
    • Ensure work performed increases the efficiency and operational capacity of the building.
    • Deliver on the operations and maintenance plan.
    • Implement, monitor and control technical and maintenance processes according to quality standards, policy, and compliance and governance requirements.
    • Review existing processes and suggest new ideas to improve and streamline processes to drive efficiencies and minimize redundancy.
    • Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration.
    • Monitor Costs and expenses.
    • Prepare monthly operations and budget reports.
    • Identify and implement opportunities for cost reduction and to streamline processes.
    • Adhere to and improve reporting processes for the area of responsibility.
    • Prepare monthly operation reports.
    • Ensure complete, timeous, and accurate reporting with appropriate levels of escalation to enable effective decision making.
    • Adhere to statutory standards, policies, and procedures within the business unit to ensure compliance at all times and take remedial action where necessary.

    Registered Nurse Paediatric- Soweto

    Job Summary:

    • To promote and deliver quality patient care and wellness in accordance with industry standards and to execute Nursing duties within the standards, procedures and protocols set down by the South African Nursing Council and Scope of Practice.
    • The incumbent will collaborate with Doctors, multi-disciplinary team members and the community in providing holistic support to patients and their family and loved ones whilst supervising allocated team members, within a specialized unit. 

    Minimum Qualifications and experience:

    • Nursing degree / Diploma in General Nursing
    • Current registration with South African Nursing Council.
    • BLS qualification/ PALS
    • 2 to 3 years’ relevant Nursing experience in Paediatric ward.
    • Post graduate diploma qualification in child nursing science advantageous.
    • Previous experience in a private hospital environment advantageous.
    • Computer proficiency.

    Minimum Duties:

    • Perform nursing duties in accordance with the South African Nursing Council (SANC), Department of Health (DOH) and National Core standards.
    • Adhere to the principles and standards of patient advocacy according to the SANC Acts and Omissions, Company Code of Conduct, Patient Rights and Responsibility Charter, Code of Conduct, Patient Rights and Responsibility Charter, National Millennium Development goals and the responsibility of continuous professional development (CPD). Supervise, organise, lead and control quality of care work for self and team adhering to therapeutic standards and goals.
    • Actively participate in internal and external auditing processes, for example DOH, National Core Standards, SHERQ, SANC and Risk Audits.
    • Document and maintain accurate files and records of patient medication and conduct ward rounds including accompanying Doctors and other Medical Practitioners for creating and evaluating customized care plans including implementing.
    • Monitor activities of nurses to ensure compliance with protocols, security, safety of patient environment, Group Nursing policies and procedures, SANC requirements on findings through regular unit rounds

    Registered Nurse Wellness

    Job Summary:

    • The Registered Nurse will promote and deliver quality patient care and wellness in accordance with industry standards and to execute Nursing duties within the standards, procedures and protocols set down by the South African Nursing Council and Scope of Practice.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    • Nursing degree/Diploma with Psychiatry.
    • Current registration with South African Nursing Council.
    • BLS qualification.
    • Post registration experience preferred.

    • Computer Literacy.

    Minimum Job Requirements:

    • Perform nursing duties in accordance with the South African Nursing Council (SANC), Department of Health (DOH) and National Core Standards.
    • Adhere to the principles and standards of patient advocacy according to the SANC acts and Omissions, Company Code of Conduct, patient rights and Responsibility charter, National Millennium Development goals and the responsibility of continuous professional development (CPD). Supervise, organize, lead and control quality of care work for self and the team adhering to therapeutic standards and goals.

    • Document patient care services by accurately charting inpatient and department records including updating care plans as patient needs changes.
    • Monitor activities of nurses to ensure compliance with protocols, security and safety of patient environment, Group Nursing policies and procedures, SANC requirements on findings through regular unit rounds.
    • Management of stock and equipment utilized in psychiatry.
    • Carr out basic assessment of patient vital signs, intake and output and accurately monitor and record data relating to patients’ condition. Escalate and issue to Unit Manager.
