Process Technician

• We are looking for a Process Technician for our site in Tulisa Park, South Africa. As a Process Technician you will perform routine repairs, preventive maintenance and installation of equipment under regular supervision and in a timely manner to minimise disruptions of site operations. In this exiting role you will:

Preventative Maintenance:

• You will perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting and/or repairs of production and facility equipment, proactively identifying and resolving recurring maintenance issues in theassigned area of activity.

Electronic and Mechanical Installations:

• You will conduct electrical or mechanical installations, repairs, and troubleshooting of motors, instrumentation and/or controls.

Safety:

• You will work in accordance with all relevant requirements including, but not limited to GMP, AIB,OSHA, HACCP, FDA, USDA and internal safety guidelines. You will maintain level of housekeeping / sanitation / food safety and safety which meets Company’s standards and guidelines.

Lean:

• You will participate in lean activities.

Ad Hoc:

• You will be required to perform other tasks as assigned.

Your Professional Profile includes:

• Minimum N4.
• Must be a qualified with a recognized trade test (red seal).
• In addition, knowledge of the following: compressors, boilers, pumps and gearboxes.
• Overall work experience 5+ years in FMCG as an electrician/Millwright
• Experience of fault finding and repair of electrical systems, including Mechanical knowledge
• Good knowledge of EHS rules and guidelines.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and equipment for installation, disassembly and testing of electronic,pneumatic and electrical devices.
• Panel wiring.
• Ability to interpret and understand electrical drawings.
• Demonstrate the ability of fault finding techniques (electrical and mechanical).
• Basic understanding of continuous improvement.
• Must be available during Weekends as required

In this exciting role you will:

Co-ordinate Sales:

• You will prepare monthly sales reports in order for the Commercial Director and Key Account Manager to monitor performance of each customer.
• You will assist Commercial Director and Key Account Manager with general CRM requirements.
• You will assist in planning and coordinating customer visits.
• You will assist to prepare'material for customer presentations by Key Account Manager and Commercial Director.
• You will request for price quotes and send to customers.
• You will monitor customer price adjustment timetables and upload prices into the system for all customers timeously.
• You will be responsible for the commercial teams relevant customer master data input and data management across Givaudan systems.

Manage of the Sample Department:

• You will request flavour samples from units for customer briefs or comparison purposes for customers via CRM system.
• You will dispatch all samples together with the required documentation and certification. You will manage all samples in the customer project and keep customer updated.

Secretarial:

• You will arrange travel requirements for Key Account Manager.
• You will do filing of general correspondence for the department.
• You will update andmaintain electronic filing of documents and visit reports for customers and product information.
• You will manage, with suppliers, the administrative tasks andordering for all corporate gifts, desk pads and calendars for customers for the end of year.
• You will manage the timeous distribution of the relevant giftsto customers. You will assist to ensure implementation of the safety system and ongoing adherence to all legislation relevant to health and safetyresponsibilities.
• You will participate in flavour training and tasting sessions.
• You will make recommendations of flavours in conjunction with the managers.
• You will ensure the smooth running of the department during the managers’ absence by assisting with any with inter-departmental queries or problems.
• You will aswell handle any customer queries or complaints that may arise, pertaining to all aspects by communicating with the relevant persons to ensure that any actionsrequired are taken and the followed through to completion.
• You will coach learners to support the sales admin function and monitor their progress.
• You willcommunicate with interdepartments (Regulatory, Customer Care, Technical, Pricing team and system Power-users) on a daily basis to complete tasks.

Core Responsibilities:

• Raising of PR (SRM and SAP) and following up on POs
• Raising of job cards when requested to and closing of jobs cards and reporting any deviations written on jobcards
• Filing and scanning of documents
• Updating various spreadsheets

In this exciting role, your main responsibilities will be:

• Participate in shaping strategic orientations for the global compensation and benefits function
• Perform regional compensation and benefits benchmarking and competitive analysis, staying apprised of market trends in all SAMEA markets, propose program enhancements or corrective actions as appropriate

Your successful profile includes:

• 10+ years experience in compensation and benefits management field with global organization
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or a related discipline
• Fluency in English and preferably other language
• Ability to compile, analyze and interpret rewards data and create reports and presentations for decision making
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Tolerance, flexibility and adaptability to fast changing environment
• Willingness to travel
