    Programmatic Manager (DV360) - Johannesburg

    Job Description

    • We are looking for a motivated Programmatic Manager to join our global Paid Media team. Ideal candidates will be able to utilise their existing ad operations, optimisation, and marketing skills and be involved in developing major client accounts, as this area of the business will undergo remarkable investment and growth over the next two years, and the candidate will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact on our success.You'll be reporting to the Senior Programmatic Director

    Your primary responsibilities will include:

    • Optimise campaign performance across programmatic platforms, striving to refine tactics for our clients.
    • Develop insights to inform our client's strategies.
    • Partner with Business Development to develop strategies for prospective clients.
    • Interface with clients through written, phone, and in person communication.
    • Collaborate across our teams to create holistic advertiser solutions which span all areas of the digital spectrum.
    • Interpret attribution modeling and 3rd party analytics data.
    • Engage deal economics, media allocation, and advertiser investment decisions.
    • Mentor and educate more junior staff as the business expands.

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years of experience in Programmatic advertising in an agency environment
    • Knowledge of programmatic advertising, specifically real-time bidding, ad formats such as display, video, and CTV, demand site platforms, attribution models, and associated technologies, specifically within the Google Marketing Platform
    • Expertise in managing campaigns within DSPs like DV360, Amazon, & The Trade Desk
    • Experience with numerical detail, analysis, and using data and market insights to inform decisions and develop business strategies.
    • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills are essential
    • Business writing skills and ability to produce high-quality documents
    • Demonstrate a structured way of working, with the ability to cope with competing demands
    • Strong interpersonal skills, specifically listening, consulting, and influencing
    • Ability to experiment with new methods and technologies to solve complex issues.

    • Day to day management of digital media paid search campaigns, focusing on revenue and profit growth and managing within budget goals
    • Basic to advanced implementation of campaigns on the different search engines networks in addition to performing or assisting in validation / audits on campaigns of the same team
    • Analysing the performance of campaigns and identifying strategic opportunities, facilitating change in order to exceed client expectations and KPIs.
    • Measurement expertise on their platforms to identify poor implementations as well as areas of opportunity to improve campaign results.
    • Working closely with internal & Client Service teams to assist in the smooth implementation of work
    • Working closely with Paid Search Directors to develop and execute paid search strategies

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of one year experience managing paid search accounts
    • Certifications within Google Ads (Search, shopping, display, video)
    • PMax knowledge
    • Desirable SA360, Apps ( ACE & ACI) GA4, Appsflyer
    • A passion for digital marketing
    • Analytics & Reporting - You'll be a whizz at using data and market insights to inform decisions and develop business strategies.
