Minimum Requirements

• B Com Degree or equivalent qualification in Finance environment
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ work experience in a financial accounting and project systems and fixed assets management environment
• Added advantage: procurement experience & good understanding of systems (SAP), controls, processes/procedures
• Knowledge of legislative and statutory requirements e.g. IFRS, PFMA, National Treasury Regulations and VAT
• Advanced computer literacy (MS Office Suite)

Primary Duties

• Adhere to business policies & procedures
• Timeous and accurate capturing of fixed assets, both movable and capital projects in the SAP FI – fixed assets module
• Ensuring audit readiness by complying with IFRS standards
• Timeous drafting and clearing of general ledger control accounts and reconciliation thereof
• Resolving problem items in connection with fixed asset transactions
• Physical asset verification
• Impairment of assets to lower carrying value or recoverable amount
• System changes – updated fixed assets module with current accounting standards and/or policies
• Record residual values according to agreed policy and/or acceptable accounting standards
• Review and/or change useful lives of assets annually
• Project management – timeous capitalization of projects per asset components

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 or NQF level 3 in an appropriate field and 12 months relevant horticultural experience
• Ability to operate specialised horticultural machinery such as chainsaws, Ride-on mower etc.
• Basic safety knowledge and ability to complete tasks in time without constant supervision.
• Code 08 / EB driver’s licence and ability to pass RW K53 driving test.

Primary Duties

• Installation and maintenance of irrigation systems.
• Maintenance of indoor plants.
• Applications of fertilisers, compost, mulches and pesticides.
• Loading and offloading of goods, machines, plants and debris etc.
• Use of specialised horticultural machinery and equipment.
• Support with decorations and construction when required.
• Maintenance of specialised sports and recreation fields.
• Horticultural maintenance of sites.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Code EC1 driver’s licence with the ability to pass Rand Water’s K53 driver test.
• 2 years operating experience in driving heavy vehicles and ability to operate truck mounted crane.
• Must be in possession of a public driver’s permit.

Primary Duties

• Delivery and collecting of equipment and materials.
• Assist with loading and offloading of garden and domestic refuse on a daily/weekly basis.
• Inspection of vehicles and cleaning of vehicles.
• Reporting of all incidents and defects to Supervisor.
• Safe loading/unloading/tying and stacking

• Basic safety knowledge and ability to undertake the work.
