Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Install new electronic components on vehicles.
- Diagnose problems with the electronic components in vehicles.
- Maintain and repair electronic components.
- Utilize a wide variety of tools to repair parts as efficiently as possible.
- Test and repair starters, alternators and charging systems.
- Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
- Repair and replace defective wiring.
- Faultfinding of Electrical system by visual inspection and use of testing equipment such as Multi meters and battery load testers.
- Maintain a clean working environment.
- Complete job reports and process paperwork.
- Repairs for COF`s.
- Quality control.
- Attend to breakdowns.
- Repair of gear selection systems on International, Volvo and UD trucks.
- Troubleshooting machine breakdowns.
- Do planned and unplanned maintenance on machines.
Applicants must have the following qualifying criteria:
- A Red Seal Auto Electrician Qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years post qualification working experience.
- Experience on CMMS system.
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism in the workplace at all times.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Advanced knowledge of modern vehicular electrical systems.
- Experience on Trucks and earth moving machinery.
- Ability to work in challenging conditions.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to communicate on all levels.
- Ability to operate electrical diagnostic equipment.

- Must have a valid, unendorsed EC (Code 14) driver’s license and (PrDP)
- Basic Computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel and Microsoft Office)
- Working knowledge of vehicle tracking systems

RESPONSIBILITIES:
SA Metal Group conducts expertise waste management services for a large manufacturing entity in the region. This role is primarily aimed at facilitating this function within the entity by, but not limited to;
- Dispatching and managing trucks and drivers
- Maintaining good customer relations with local partners and suppliers of scrap metal
- Ensuring all trucks are filled with diesel – communicate with all drivers on diesel statuses
- Coordinating truck maintenance when needed.
- Booking of employee medicals and inductions
- Verifying and accounting for bin locations
- Compliance to section 8.2 of the Health and Safety Act and comply with client’s regulations
- Incident reporting
- Toolbox talks with subordinates
- Supervising of all loads
- Attending toolbox talks with client
- Attending daily safety meetings with client
- Attending ROAS meetings with client
QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent.
- 5 years’ experience in a Supervisory position.
- A minimum of at least 5 years’ experience in a production industry.
- Computer literate - full Microsoft suite.
- Good knowledge of H&S regulations.
- Logistics experience will be an advantage
- Scrap metal experience will be an advantage.

Duties and responsibilities include:
- Ensure all daily Store tasks are completed on time
- Issue requested stock items to various departments
- Process daily stock items issued to various departments
- Complete Inventory cycle counts on stock items
- Conduct inventory stock take when required
- Raise any cycle count variances with manager
- Offloading of stock deliveries by suppliers
- Checking of deliveries against delivery notes
- Receipting of deliveries
- Maintain minimum and maximum stock quantities
- Adhere to Health and Safety regulations

Applicants must have the following qualifying criteria:
- Grade 12 preferably with Mathematics or Accountancy
- Relevant Qualification or Certification is preferred (Stores, Technical, Purchasing etc.)

- Computer proficiency; packages required: MS Office with Excel and Inventory Management
- Ability to work under pressure without supervision
- Be prepared to work after-hours, overtime including weekends

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Obtain quote/s for adhoc requirements to support departmental needs
- Load orders in Fraxion
- Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers
- Conduct benchmarking exercises
- Assist with category management within the procurement portfolio
- Assist the Senior Procurement Officer with ensuring that strict procurement processes and procedures are followed within the company’s procurement policies and regulations
- Liaise with other departments within the organization to establish their material requirements
- Working hand in hand with the Projects, Truck Workshop & Engineering departments to improve procurement planning
- Working closely with Stores personnel to ensure on-time ordering for stock orders
- Assist in managing the daily MRP for stock orders
- Assist expediting of outstanding and open orders
- Assistance in evaluating minimum, maximum and re-order levels, capturing and keeping data integrity updated within the procurement and stock modules
- Assist with cycle counts as well as year-end counts
- Procurement of Diesel, Gases and all non-stock items (Analysis and calculation exercises)
- Compile and issue relevant daily reports internally
- Assist Senior Procurement Officer with COD suppliers
- Regular review of open orders
- Ensure correct documents received for supplier onboarding
QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE
- Grade 12
- Relevant Certificate/Diploma in Procurement and Stores Management will be an advantage
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Procurement/Inventory/Stores environment
- MS Office knowledge
- Inventory management experience
- SAGE Accpac experience would be advantageous
- Fluent in English
