    • Requirements: At least 5 years in a senior leadership or management role overseeing a national or regional sales team. Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies in agricultural, irrigation, or allied industries.

    Mechanical Artisan: Fitter

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

    • To perform all mechanical maintenance and repairs on all grain silo plant components and all other related grain handling machinery to ensure maximum operational efficiency and availability of the facility and to comply to the Occupational Health and safety act and regulations.

    Responsibilities:

    Maintenance, installation, and construction of structural components:

    • Perform mechanical maintenance duties.
    • Maintenance and breakdown repairs on Grain silo plant components such as bucket elevators, conveyor belts, cleaners and pre-cleaners, mobile hoppers and stackers, chutes and valves, compressors, pneumatic actuators, etc.
    • Perform conveyor belt alignment/training.
    • Maintenance and repair on hydraulic components such as hydropacks and hydraulic cylinders.
    • Fit attachments or tools onto production equipment.
    • Reshape metal work pieces to established specifications.
    • Responsible for balancing of rotating equipment.

    Troubleshoot, repair and maintain malfunctioning systems:

    • Run tests on structural systems to determine root cause of malfunction.
    • Adhere to applicable SANS while performing mechanical maintenance duties.
    • Provide technical advice and solutions on maintenance.
    • Deal with breakdowns.
    • Coordinate resources to do maintenance.
    • Upgrade, maintain and replace assets.

    Employee management:

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist with grain handling by grading different commodities.
    • Assists with the offloading, storage, receiving and dispatching of grain by adhering to instructions and following standard procedures.

    Spray Painter (Falcon)

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

    • Responsible for applying spray paint on parts, machinery, equipment etc. and executing associated tasks

    OPERATE SPRAY BAY EQUIPMENT:

    Core Tasks:

    • Responsible for spraying surfaces of machines, manufactured products, or working area with protective or decorative material, such as paint, enamel, glaze, gelcoat, or lacquer, using spray gun.
    • Ensure application of masking tape over parts and areas that are not to be coated.
    • Fill cavities and dents with putty to attain smooth surface.
    • Select and mix coating liquid to produce desired colour, according to specifications, using paddle or mechanical mixer.
    • Pour coating liquid into spray container and connects gun to air hose, using wrenches.
    • Turn sprayer valves and nozzle to regulate width and pressure of spray according to knowledge of painting technique.
    • Pull trigger and directs spray onto work surface to apply prime or finish coat.
    • Coat areas inaccessible to hand sprayer, using brush.
    • Cleans spraying equipment and brushes with solvent. May heat and spray wax onto products after they are tested.
    • Execute associated spray-painting tasks, including discussing painting project requirements with clients, preparing the job site, applying primers, removing old paint, filling holes, matching colours, and cleaning tools and site.
