Job Requirements
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Sales Management, Business Administration, Irrigation Science (SABI), Agricultural Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certification or accreditation in irrigation system design, installation, or water management is preferred.
- Requirements: At least 5 years in a senior leadership or management role overseeing a national or regional sales team. Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies in agricultural, irrigation, or allied industries.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
- To perform all mechanical maintenance and repairs on all grain silo plant components and all other related grain handling machinery to ensure maximum operational efficiency and availability of the facility and to comply to the Occupational Health and safety act and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Maintenance, installation, and construction of structural components:
- Perform mechanical maintenance duties.
- Maintenance and breakdown repairs on Grain silo plant components such as bucket elevators, conveyor belts, cleaners and pre-cleaners, mobile hoppers and stackers, chutes and valves, compressors, pneumatic actuators, etc.
- Perform conveyor belt alignment/training.
- Maintenance and repair on hydraulic components such as hydropacks and hydraulic cylinders.
- Fit attachments or tools onto production equipment.
- Reshape metal work pieces to established specifications.
- Responsible for balancing of rotating equipment.
Troubleshoot, repair and maintain malfunctioning systems:
- Run tests on structural systems to determine root cause of malfunction.
- Adhere to applicable SANS while performing mechanical maintenance duties.
- Provide technical advice and solutions on maintenance.
- Deal with breakdowns.
- Coordinate resources to do maintenance.
- Upgrade, maintain and replace assets.
Employee management:
- Provide support and guidance to artisan assistance (coaching and mentoring).
- Supervise performance of artisan assistants.
- Perform on-the-job training.

- National Senior Certificate.
- N3 in Engineering studies or a Trade Certificate in relevant field.
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Maintenance Fitter
