    Sales Administrator Edenvale (Longmeadow)

    Description

    • ACDC Dynamics a leading manufacturer, importer, and distributor of quality products in the electrical, electronics, pumps, and tools industry.
    • We are seeking a highly efficient Sales Administrator to join our growing team in our Longmeadow, Edenvale branch.  Incumbent will process all administrative duties for the Sales team, as well as assist with day-to-day sales functions.

    Key responsibilities

    • Enquiries followed up and feedback provided to the line managers
    • Identifying new products and sales opportunities and communicating them through your line manager to the sales department
    • Assisting with quotes and external representatives daily
    • Evaluating online platforms for viable tender opportunities and compiling offers
    • Call 8 – 10 dormant customers per week in an effort to re-establish relationships,  If successful lead needs to be processed through the corresponding channels
    • Successfully transfer client to the relevant sales team within 48 hours
    • Maintain and update reporting systems on a daily basis on sales related activities

    Requirements

    • Matric + 2-3 years in a similar role
    • The ability to work within groups and other divisional groups
    • The ability to see opportunities and suggest actions, doing things differently and effectively.
    • The quality of being honest and having strong moral principles

    Counter Salesperson - Somerset West (Sommerset)

    Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products based on their needs.
    • Demonstrate excellent product knowledge to inform customers and enhance sales opportunities.
    • Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
    • Follow up diligently on orders to prevent delays and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive counter area.
    • Ensure all customers leave the store satisfied with their purchases and overall experience.
    • Assist customers promptly with inquiries, providing quotations, and resolving any issues.
    • Treat all customers with respect, courtesy, and professionalism.
    • Keep specials and promotional brochures up to date on the trade counter.
    • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management to support operational needs.
    • Manage back orders effectively, keeping customers informed and ensuring timely fulfillment.
    • Provide accurate updates on stock availability and product information to customers.

    • Tertiary Qualification is advantageous

    Cashier (Sommerset)

    Description

    • Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
    • Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
    • Collect payments whether in cash, debit card or credit card
    • Issue receipts, refunds, change
    • Attention to detail
    • Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information
    • Greet customers entering or leaving the store
    • Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
    • Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
    • Bag, box or gift-wrap packages
    • Handle merchandise returns and exchanges

    Driver - ACDC Express: Somerset West (Sommerset)

    Purpose of the Role

    • To provide secure and timely driving services to transport goods ensuring excellent customer service.

    Key Performance Areas

    • Maintain a professional and respectful behaviour towards Clients, and Customers
    • Act with integrity always
    • Delivery/ Collection of orders and any other driver related tasks deemed necessary by management
    • Maintain vehicles according to company requirements
    • Maintain a trip logbook and ensuring it is up to date
    • Ensure Company vehicle is always clean
    • Comply with all road traffic and driving regulations
    • Plan route, for effective and efficient service delivery
    • Checking all orders are correct in terms of the delivery note, when leaving the premises of ACDC and when arriving at the delivery address
    • Efficiently and effectively dispatching of orders

    Requirements

    • Grade 12/ Matric
    • Valid South African driver’s licence with a valid PDP and clean driving record
    • 2 -3 years previous driving, delivery, or courier experience will be advantageous
    • Good knowledge of Somerset West and surrounding areas
    • Ability to communicate professionally with customers and staff
    • Reliable, punctual, honest, and able to work under pressure
