    Bulk Sales Manager (Bedfordview)

    Bulk Sales Manager

    • To help achieve Afrimat’s vision and objectives by managing all functions related to sales of bulk cement in all segments. Developing demand for Afrimat Cement’s products, facilitation of technical support and targeting new customers and maintain existing customers in Gauteng.
    • Ensuring the successful implementation of the sales strategy that ensures the long-term sustainability of the brand through its active promotion, by exploiting the channels and by successfully providing the total Afrimat construction materials offering.

    Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Skills

    • Sales/Marketing tertiary qualification or equivalent is essential.
    • Grade 12 (Matric) qualification
    • At least 5 years of working experience within the similar role.

    Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to):

    • Contribute to maximizing profitability for the region and across segments

    Plantsman (Ladysmith)

    Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Skills

    • Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
    • Valid driver’s license will be an advantage.
    • Fitting/ Boilermaking Trade certificate.
    • 2 years of safety management experience and knowledge of Mine Health & Safety Act.
    • At least 3 years crushing plant experience.
    • Previous experience as a supervisor on a mine/quarry will be advantageous.
    • Fault finding and repair on mechanical, hydraulics and pneumatics.

    Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to):

    • Ensuring a safe and legally compliant working environment and work practices at the plant.
    • Taking full responsibility for maintaining an improving productivity of the plant which includes amongst others; optimizing plant settings; quality control; performing first level maintenance; cost control; managing reporting staff, planning and executing work; tracking and reporting plant performance.
    • Ensuring adequate technical capacity to effectively and sustainably support the fixed plant maintenance requirements of the operation.
    • Establishing a pro-active and performance-based maintenance culture on the plant and collaborating with earthmoving equipment maintenance staff to ensure minimal downtime and a coordinated maintenance effort to support effective production and achievement of targeted production and financial results.

    Software Developers

    • The role includes hands-on development, system maintenance, and integration work.

    Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Competencies

    • BSc Computer Science or similar tertiary qualification
    • Based in Cape Town or willing to relocate
    • At least 3 to 5 years’ worth of professional development experience
    • Strong object-oriented programming skills
    • Proven ability to leverage the Microsoft suite to build capabilities and functionalities
    • Proficiency in C# with at least 3 years solid exposure at an academic or professional level
    • Experience in Web Development (including front-end and back-end development) is required
    • Skilled in C#, ASP.NET MVC/.NET Core, Entity Framework (or similar ORM) for SQL
    • Server, JavaScript frameworks (e.g., HTMX/React, Angular), HTML5, and building
    • RESTful API’s

    • The candidate must be medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act

    • Experience in system architecture and integration

    • Adhere to all rules and regulations that are applicable to the operations.
    • Assist in keeping all tasks related to maintenance and ordering systems up to date.
