    Logistics Manager

    You will have the following:

    • Certificate in Logistics/Supply-chain/Operations
    • 1 years of relevant experience in a logistics/supply-chain/operations environment. International experience is required.
    • Proficiency in French, English and Swahili is preferred.
    • Experience in the mining environment highly advantageous.

    You will have advanced skills and knowledge in:

    • Supply Chain value chain
    • Understanding of all relevant legislation
    • Logistics – transport & import and export
    • ERP supply chain and inventory management systems
    • Logistics software
    • Sourcing and negotiation skills
    • Coordination skills
    • Customs, clearing legislation and processes
    • Mining Code
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, customs regulations, policies, procedures and processes
    • Establish and maintain effective and efficient Projects logistics function
    • Develop and manage Exonerations lists
    • Manage and coordinate the Projects logistics to ensure on-time delivery
    • Drive effective problem-solving and continuous improvement

    ESD Manager

    Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

    • Grade 12
    • Degree in Business, Legal or Technical Disciplines 
    • Post Graduate qualification will be advantageous 

    Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:

    • Experience in transformation or community Development 
    • Experience in training and development of rural based SMME's including incubation and mentoring 
    • Preference will be given to candidates with technical ability to oversee local contractors 
    • SMME Management experience 
    • Understanding of construction contracts, including sub-contractor agreements 
    • Advanced knowledge and management of joint ventures 

    The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

    • Driving ESD strategy and goals Communicating with clients or employers about project, event or campaign expectations and goals.
    • Drive alignment, collaboration and synergy between the various stakeholders and suppliers to provide a comprehensive Enterprise and Supplier Development solution
    • Collaborating with clients or employers, finance teams and other team members on budgeting and allocating funds
    • Collaborate closely with Supply Chain and Sustainability and guide and support other departments to participate in ESD initiatives
    • Collaborate with local economic development forums and local community forums - build local and national partnerships that can support future business growth
    • Delegating tasks to appropriate team members
    • Managing deadlines and progress across the team to ensure the project is delivered on time and on budget.
    • Ability to drive local empowerment with emphasis on local community spend.
    • Overseeing the delivery of projects and making adjustments as necessary to ensure they are delivered to specifications and high standards.
    • Collecting and analysing feedback from customers and other project users to gauge satisfaction and success.

    ESD Coordinator

    • Relevant Degree or Diploma in Community relations or Business Management  

    Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:

    • Experience in transformation or community Development 
    • Experience in training and development of rural based SMME's including incubation and mentoring 
    • Management experience 
    • Good understanding and experience in managing community relationships 

    The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

    • Communicating with clients or employers about project, event or campaign expectations and goals 
    • Collaborating with clients or employers, finance teams and other team members on budgeting and allocating funds 
    • Delegating tasks to appropriate team members 
    • Managing deadlines and progress across the team to ensure the project is delivered on time and on budget 
    • Organising third-party providers and vendors to deliver elements that can't be produced in-house 
    • Overseeing the delivery of projects and making adjustments as necessary to ensure the are delivered to specifications and high standards 
    • Collecting and analysing feedback from customers and other project users to gauge satisfaction and success.
