    Job Description

    • We are seeking an Analyst, Transactional Treasury & Capital Management to join our Treasury Capital Management team in Johannesburg, South Africa.     Senior Engineer, Cloud, AWS

    Job Description

    • To be the AWS cloud engineering subject matter expert across multiple cloud capabilities linked to AWS platform engineering, including AI, DevOps, Compute, networking and databases. The individual will also ensure that the Standard Bank AWS cloud environment is continuously evolving to best practice, adopting new AWS features at scale and enabling feature teams to deploy innovative solutions for our customers.
    • The AWS senior cloud engineer will also be the service owner for core AWS platform enablement capabilities, ensuring our services are compliant to SBG standards, principles, policies, and regulatory obligations in a manner that enables our business strategy.
    • The AWS senior cloud engineer will also be consulting partner for our application teams that have deployed workloads in cloud and also to product owners across the organization. The role includes partnering and engage proactively with AWS architecture team, AWS enterprise support and the AWS product team/ services team to ensure we keep up with new AWS features and service launches, while continuously improving and evolving existing AWS services.
    • The role also involves collaborating and operating across several countries, business units and feature teams across the Standard Bank Group.
