    Demand Planner - Westville

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Diploma /Degree in Supply Chain Management
    • 2 - 5 years’ experience (dependent on seniority of the role)
    • FMCG demand planning experience advantageous
    • Internal stakeholder engagement spanning across Head office buyers, Stores, DCs
    • External stakeholder engagement with Suppliers, suppliers KAMS, supplier reps, supplier distribution centers, third party distributors, transporters
    • Solid systems knowledge – MS Office Suite, WMS
    • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
    • Strong knowledge of demand forecasting methodologies and tools
    • Proficient in inventory management and replenishment strategies

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Duties include, but not limited to:

    DEMAND PLANNER - GENERIC 

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop accurate demand forecasts for various retail product categories
    • Monitor and analyse market trends, historical sales data, and customer insights to optimize demand planning processes
    • Conduct regular demand reviews with suppliers, KAMs, and other external stakeholders to align demand and supply plans
    • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate information exchange
    • Coordinate with supplier distribution centres and third-party distributors to ensure efficient inventory management and order fulfilment
    • Work closely with transporters to optimize transportation routes and minimize lead times
    • Continuously improve demand planning processes by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing best practices
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate demand planning accuracy and identify opportunities for improvement

    DEMAND PLANNER - OUTBOUND SPECIFIC

    • Promotional lines forecast- Promotional lines sales at stores
    • Monitor store stock position -Promotional lines and out of stocks at stores
    • Manage new store order fulfillment
    • Maintain DC help desk and track queries until resolution
    • Collaboration with store managers and regional managers on planning
    • Allocation of stock to stores-collaboration with supply chain , buyers, transport , inbound planners to ensure stock in store
    • Monitor store replenishment and stock requests
    • Check back orders and highlight no/cross picks

    DEMAND PLANNER - INBOUND SPECIFIC

    • Managing in stock position
    • Managing stock levels
    • Managing discontinued, suspended and slow moving lines
    • Monitoring supplier strike rates as per delivery schedule
    • Supplier interactions( returns & uplifts)
    • Forecasting demand for peaks and promotions
    • Placing of Cycle orders with suppliers
    • Ensuring allowances and efficiencies are received
    • Highlight stock adjustments ( shrinkage to DC operations)
    • Damages vs swell allowance
    • Highlight ranging issues to range department

    Shift Manager - DC

    Requirements:

    • Degree or diploma in a relevant field.
    • 1-3 years of experience in warehousing or distribution.
    • Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
    • Experience in staff management and team leadership.
    • Ability to work flexible shift patterns.

    • Accurately report and track shift attendance.

    Inbound Manager - East London

    Minimum Requirements

    • Relevant Supply Chain Degree
    • 3 years relevant experience
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Knowledge of Bomm System
    • WMS knowledge
    • Retail and warehouse experience
    • Management skills and experience
    • Problem solving ability

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Receiving:

    • Ensure accurate delivery scheduling and adherence to documented procedures during stock reception.
    • Conduct spot checks on loads exceeding the value of R200,000.
    • Oversee that incoming stock aligns with the warehouse requirements.

    Replenishment:

    • Manage staff allocation and supervise the team effectively under the guidance of the supervisor.
    • Ensure compliance with documented procedures and accurate placement of stock in accordance with warehouse standards.
    • Report empty locations, confirm no stock, and address damaged rack reports.

    Inventory Management:

    • Investigate stock quality, reporting findings to the demand planning team and management for cycle counts.
    • Align physical counts to system stocks through adjustments and follow up on stock discrepancies.

    Reverse Logistics:

    • Accept all uplift notes from stores and sign off on stock write-offs.
    • Ensure accurate capture of write-offs on the system.

    Staff Management:

    • Conduct interviews, recruit, and appoint staff.
    • Identify training needs and supervise, monitor, and measure staff performance.

    Chep Pallets:

    • Ensure the return of all palettes to suppliers.
    • Oversee the coordination of Chep palettes according to established procedures.

    Junior Designer - Confined Labels

    Minimum Requirements

    • 1–2 Years experience in print design
    • Experience working on a MAC Computer
    • Have a good understanding of flexography and lithography
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Must have a valid licence
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Must have a solution oriented approach
    • Deadline driven
    • Attention to detail

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

    • External Designer is responsible for ensuring that brand rules are established and executed across all Boxer confined label designs.
    • External Designer will be required to work closely with our NPDT team, Printers and repro houses to ensure that Boxer confined label designs align with Boxer brand guidelines and commercial strategies. Ensuring that new brand concepts and end products are unique to Boxer Superstores, while understanding the leading designs in trade and oversee a high level of creative work across brands.
    • Design Briefs, label detail and packaging grids will be provided by the NDPT according to the product specification, tier and brand. This shall ensure that the brand message is executed on the design, keeping it in line with the brand rules.
    • Prioritizing of designs and guidance will be provided by the NDPT what is required when and deliverance must be in accordance to timeline agreed to below. The job function will entail functioning closely with NDPT team, Suppliers printer and repro house to ensure from product development to end product on shelf executes 100%.

    Main Objectives of the Role:

    • Ensure the packaging grids are correct
    • Design visual concepts which are unique to Boxer
    • Conduct Market Research regarding the Product and category in respect to the competition as required.
    • Incorporate brand rules on existing designs and ensure correct roll out
    • Complete design projects on time and within the designated budget agreed.
    • Collaborate and Communicate design concepts to NPDT team
    • Time-manage multiple projects and update the NPDT team on progress
    • Consistently deliver creative designs that allows us to stand out in the market.
    • Ensure all artwork is correct and is supplied in the right format/sizes/colour codes before being sent out to external parties.
    • We Transfer of files brief sheet to be included to the print on colors etc. as previously supplied.
    • Work on multiple briefs at the same time.
    • Maintain Old & New Database with the most updated versions and make the team aware if there is any original files not received
    • Create design based on printer specifications.
    • Create 3d renders as required
    • Create Brand Rule Books and keep updated with the latest design files
    • Create Point of sale designs as required
    • Create unique brand videos
