    Talent Acquisition Specialist

    • As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a critical role in attracting and acquiring top talent to support the organization's growth and strategic objectives. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies, identify qualified candidates, and facilitate a seamless recruitment process. You will work closely with hiring managers and HR partners to understand their staffing needs and provide expertise in sourcing, evaluating, and selecting candidates who possess the necessary skills and expertise. You will report into the Head of HR for MRoA.

    Your Job:

    Talent Acquisition Strategy:

    • Collaborate with hiring managers and HR partners to develop and execute talent acquisition strategies aligned with the organization's goals and workforce needs.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, market intelligence, and best practices to continuously improve recruitment strategies and processes.
    • Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

    Sourcing and Candidate Selection:

    • Proactively source and attract qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, professional networks, social media, and industry events.
    • Conduct thorough candidate assessments, including resume screening, interviews, and reference checks, to evaluate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop and implement effective interview techniques and selection processes tailored to specific roles and business units.

    Employer Branding and Candidate Experience:

    • Promote the organization's employer brand and value proposition to attract and engage top talent in the insurance industry.
    • Develop compelling job descriptions, advertisements, and recruitment marketing materials that effectively communicate the organization's culture, benefits, and career opportunities.
    • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by providing timely communication, feedback, and a seamless onboarding experience.

    Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including hiring managers, HR partners, and business leaders, to understand their talent needs and align recruitment efforts accordingly.
    • Collaborate with external vendors, recruitment agencies, and educational institutions to tap into diverse talent pools and build a strong talent network.
    • Foster long-term relationships with candidates and establish a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.

    Data Management and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate data and recruitment metrics in the applicant tracking system (ATS) or other designated tools.
    • Generate regular reports on key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, candidate quality, and diversity, to track progress and provide insights to stakeholders.
    • Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to enhance recruitment strategies and processes.

    Your Profile:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or Recruiter within the insurance industry or a related field.
    • In-depth knowledge of insurance industry trends, job roles, and hiring requirements.
    • Strong sourcing and candidate assessment skills, including competency-based interviewing techniques.
    • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
    • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze recruitment metrics and make data-backed recommendations.
    • Strong understanding of employer branding and the candidate experience.

    Claims Specialist Non-Life

    Your Job:

    • You will report into the Head of Claims.
    • Manage and perform a legal review of major and complex claims.
    • Managing claims (assessing indemnity and quantum within defined limits of authority/ultimate estimation of major losses and ongoing review of reserves for individual losses and loss complexes) with a focus on added value, for example by negotiating coverage, liability and allocation issues, initiating subrogation and collaborating with other Munich Re international organisations. Where required, deciding what type of claims or risks calls for special expertise (carrying out loss inspections, advising on risk prevention, etc.).
    • Servicing, advising and monitoring our cedents with regards to claims matters; including if required conducting claims reviews and due diligence, and visits to client offices, also in cooperation with other Munich Re international organisations.
    • Use new technologies and alternative solutions for claims-related portfolio analysis as well as supporting the development and distribution of Claims Digital Services.
    • Provide support for client management and underwriting (claims feedback and lessons learned, advising on wording issues etc.).
    • Foster expertise and synergies through cooperation within the claims units.
    • Active contribution to working groups and in-/external workshops and events on current claims topics, including Knowledge transfer through training, presentations and seminars.
    • Understand and comply with Claims guidelines and processes including but not limited to large losses, outliers and loss complexes.
    • Be familiar with and understanding the reserving practices of clients; being able to assess the quality of reserves established and/or to ask critical questions about these.
    • Develop and maintain sound relationships with clients.
    • Provide excellent service and solutions that satisfy the needs of customers and stakeholders.
    • State his/her position clearly and presenting it to individual persons and group.

    Your Profile:

    • Tertiary qualification: Legal would be an advantage.
    • Insurance qualification (ACII,AIISA,ACILA etc) or studies towards an insurance qualification.
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in reinsurance claims environment. Alternatively 10 years claims handling/ management/loss adjusting and/or underwriting of property/engineering business. Knowledge of reinsurance would be an added advantage.
