    Senior Specialist: Data Analytics & Monitoring

    Role Purpose/Business Unit:

    • To implement and embed the Compliance Intelligence Continuous Monitoring and Assurance capability by leveraging newer technologies, data analytics, AI, RPA, and automated control testing to deliver proactive, intelligence‑led compliance assurance across Group and market entities in both the telecommunications and financial services businesses, strengthening operational, regulatory compliance assurance, and control effectiveness.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Operationalize data-driven continuous compliance monitoring through analytics, automated scripts, and control automation to test the full population of data across priority regulatory and financial services risk domains.
    • Provide inputs into the requirements gathering, design, and validation of control logic and associated scripting requirements for Compliance Intelligence Continuous Monitoring and Assurance controls, in collaboration with Markets and VOIS India, as the technical delivery partner for control scripting and implementation.
    • Actively partner with Markets to interpret Compliance Intelligence, Continuous Monitoring, and Assurance outputs, support root‑cause analysis, agree on pragmatic and risk‑based remediation actions, and track the timely closure of the exceptions to drive sustainable improvements in the local control environment.
    • Ensure the continuous embedment and effective operation of the Compliance Intelligence Continuous Monitoring and Assurance across Group and Markets, coordinating with Technology, Cyber, and other stakeholders to ensure platform compliance, effective control deployment, and ongoing adherence to cross‑border data processing approvals granted by Group, Markets, and in‑country Regulators where required.
    • Provide regular executive and ad hoc reporting on Compliance Intelligence Continuous Monitoring and Assurance coverage, outcomes, and remediation progress, ensuring alignment with internal frameworks and enabling effective oversight and assurance.

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • Relevant Commercial, Risk, Compliance, Accounting, Data degree.
    • Higher relevant degrees will be an advantageous.
    • Higher relevant specialist qualifications in e.g. data analytics or AI will be an advantage.
    • Sound knowledge of internal control,  compliance assurance, and control assurance principles.
    • Sound understanding of compliance and risk management principles.

    Desired experience:

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in compliance, operational risk, internal control, audit, or assurance roles.
    • Experience working with data analytics, automated controls, or continuous monitoring solutions in a regulated environment.
    • Exposure to telecommunications, financial services environment will be advantageous.
    • Exposure to the COSO Framework will be advantageous.

    Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:

    • Strong experience in compliance assurance, operational risk management, internal control and business processes and controls, with practical exposure to data analytics or automated monitoring.
    • Ability to analyse, interpret and translate operational, regulatory, compliance, and governance requirements into automated, testable controls, including maintaining ongoing adherence to approvals granted for cross‑border data processing by Group, Markets, and in‑country Regulators where required.
    • Proven capability to manage complex, cross‑functional initiatives involving technology, data, and multiple stakeholders across Group and markets.
    • High levels of judgement, accountability, and execution discipline, with the ability to operate independently in a fast‑paced, regulated environment.

    Recruitment Consultant- 6 Months Contract

    Role Purpose:

    • The Recruitment Consultant is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for call centre roles, including sourcing, interviewing, vetting, and onboarding candidates.
    • The role ensures that staffing requirements are met efficiently while maintaining compliance with labour legislation and delivering a high‑quality, customer‑centric recruitment service.
    • By combining recruitment expertise with a strong understanding of call centre operations, the consultant plays a critical role in building workforce capability, driving operational efficiency, and supporting business growth. 

    Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

    • Job Profiles: Develop job descriptions for recruitment, internal and external adverts tailored to call centre requirements.
    • High Volume Recruitment: Source, screen, and interview candidates for call centre roles (agents, team leaders, specialists).
    • Pre Screening: Conduct CV reviews and phone screening to ensure candidates meet minimum requirements (e.g., Grade 12, language proficiency, customer service skills).
    • Interviews: Conduct and Manage end‑to‑end recruitment processes (face-to-face)
    • Placement & Onboarding: Manage offers and oversee onboarding processes.
    • Pipelines: Build and maintain talent pipelines for high‑volume recruitment for future business needs.
    • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with call centre managers and Workforce Planning to understand staffing requirements and performance expectations.
    • Compliance: Ensure recruitment processes adhere to labor laws, BBBEE, EE, and organisational policies.
    • Reporting: Maintain recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire, attrition rates) and provide regular updates to management.
    • Candidate Management: Provide exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    Must have Qualifications and Experience:

    • Matric / Grade 12 or SAQA Accredited Equivalent*
    • Minimum of a B Degree with HR specialisation or SAQA Accredited Equivalent
    • At least 3- 5 years' experience in the high-volume recruitment industry
    • Experience in dealing with tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment

    Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:

    • Strong knowledge of call centre operations and workforce requirements.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage high-volume recruitment under tight deadlines.
    • Familiarity with SAP HR systems and applicant tracking tools.
    • Understanding of South African labor legislation and compliance framework.

    Principal Specialist Technology Resilience

    Role Purpose/Business Unit:

    • To manage and implement IT Resilience and Payment Services technology resilience principles and best practice across all Vodacom markets and Subsidiaries with more than 50% ownership, referred to as entities.
    • To ensure that new and revised Vodafone IT Resilience & Transformation policies, guidelines, standards and requirements are communicated and implemented by technology groups across all Vodacom markets.
    • To draft specific Vodacom Group technology resilience policies and related procedures applicable to all Vodacom entities.
    • To enhance existing procedures, standards and guidelines to develop and maintain technical recovery plans and procedures and implement enhanced procedures and solutions.
    • To ensure that knowledge regarding IT and Payment resilience concepts and requirements is transferred to the Vodacom entities.

    • To research specific industry trends and update applicable procedures, standards and guidelines and maintain the toolkit to ensure the successful maintenance and testing of technology recovery strategies and systems.
    • To enhance methodologies and information systems through innovation to support, assist and guide network design and planning to ensure conformance to policy and good practice.

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • A BSC degree or equivalent qualification in IT (essential)
    • MBA will be advantages
    • Additional professional relevant certification will be an advantage including:
    • PECB Certified Lead Disaster Recovery Manager
    • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) 

    Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:
