    Integrated Business Development Manager – Retail/Lifestyle/Technology

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Build and execute a targeted account strategy within Retail / Lifestyle / Technology segments.

    Head Of Maersk Project Logistics (MPL) – Southern Africa & Islands

    Opportunity

    • Execute the MPL procurement strategy and roll-out global initiatives and strategy
    • Implement MPL sub-products in the area
    • Activating Sales teams towards the increase of the pipeline and achieving joint actions for closing project deals.
    • Plan and implement appropriate resources at local level (staffing, training, equipment, and systems) to ensure contractual compliance and delivery of quality services that meet and exceed the customer expectations.
    • Provide MPL local operations and Product team with daily guidance, leadership and overall support on any issues relating to operations, communication, revenue enhancement, human resources, procedure standardization, systems applications, process execution, Procurement strategy, go-to-market and pricing strategy.
    • Work collaboratively with Senior Project Managers to ensure efficient operations according to customer requirements.
    • Develop continuous improvement methodology in key areas of service profit and growth aligned with the operations team.
    • Develop customer relationships and ensure that customer service and local operations service levels are maintained.
    • Oversee and manage the professional development and productivity of direct reports to ensure proper goals, training, professional development and project requirements are met.
    • Promote the MPL product internally with main stakeholders.
    • Financial report preparation for P&L metrics.

    Maintenance Technician

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform daily checks and regular inspections of critical equipment, including refrigeration units, electrical systems, mobile racking, other racking systems, and general facility infrastructure to identify potential issues and ensure systems are functioning at optimal levels.
    • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on refrigeration systems, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and cooling tunnels.
    • Conduct temperature probe calibrations to ensure accuracy and compliance with operational standards.
    • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical faults on facility equipment, including conveyor systems, forklifts, and cooling systems.
    • Conduct preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and general facility infrastructure.
    • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, including HACCP, ISO9001, and food safety requirements.
    • Maintain accurate maintenance records and report any major faults to the Maintenance Manager.
    • Assist in emergency breakdown repairs to minimize downtime in operations.
    • Work closely with the Operations team to ensure that maintenance activities do not disrupt critical workflows.
    • Support the Maintenance Manager in planning and executing major equipment overhauls and facility upgrades.
    • Monitor and manage stock levels of maintenance supplies and spare parts.
    • Adhere to all health and safety policies and participate in safety training programs.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    Education:

    • Diploma or trade certifications CO2 refrigeration systems.
    • SAQCC gas handling licence (Cat. A) – CO2
    • Or Electrical trade certification (Red seal)

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a refrigeration technician role, ideally in a cold storage, food production, or warehouse environment.
    • Or Electrical system
    • Proven experience in large-scale mechanical and electrical systems, including refrigeration and HVAC.
    • In-depth knowledge of facility maintenance, repair, and diagnostic techniques.

    ​​​​​​​Technical Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and components.
    • Experience with electrical systems, including troubleshooting and wiring.
    • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS),  PLCs, and mechanical equipment.
    • Welding and fabrication experience is an advantage.

    ​​​​​​​Beneficial Qualifications:

    • Refrigeration Technician Certification relating to CO2 plants
    • Electrical Trade Certificate
    • Experience with Danfoss/HCS refrigeration controls.
    • Electrical Systems
    • Safety Certifications (e.g., OHSAS, First Aid/CPR)
    • SANS 10147

    ​​​​​​​Other Requirements:

    • Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergency breakdowns.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and after-hours call-outs when required.
    • Valid driver’s license (preferred).

    ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Working Conditions:

    • The role requires working in a cold storage environment and often at heights up to 10m.
    • Work in high-risk areas with moving machinery and electrical components.
    • Physical demands, including lifting, bending, and working at heights.
    • Some flexibility in working hours may be needed to accommodate emergency repairs or project deadlines.

    Reverse Logistics Team Leader

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Customer Returns:

    • Ensure the effective and efficient carry out of Reverse Logistics operations, ensuring accurate and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of defect goods into & out of the relevant assigned Bin location.
    • Conduct regular inspections and root cause analysis with Client on returned and warehouse damaged stock, locations, and packaging issues.
    • Ensure the crediting and processing process and ensure all databases are updated accordingly.

    Defective Goods and Reworks:

    • Assign personnel for correctly receiving, storing, and dispatching defective Graded stock received from & to relevant assigned bin locations.
    • Assign Personnel to consolidate inventory where necessary to free up space.
    • Confirm with Reverse Supervisor which reworks are to be prioritised and ensure that planned Reworks with the Client are completed timeously.
    • Ensure that all planned sales on defect stock are completed effectively and efficiently.
    • Maintain effective inventory control procedures to ensure defect stock accuracy and availability.
    • Assign personnel for Factory reworks to be taken to relevant Outbound bays for despatch timeously

    ​​​​​​​System Management

    • Ensure all personnel are trained and proficient in using the WMS and review records regularly.
    • Ensure system to system alignment on inventory holding for defect stock.
    • Utilize WMS to generate and update reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies for defective goods.

    ​​​​​​​Reporting and Analysis:

    • Generate and Update databases and reports, including stock Aging reports, Reworks completed, Returns processed and process Improvement logs.
    • Communicate findings and recommendations to the Reverse Supervisor & the Reverse Logistics Manager
    • Ensure all key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Reverse Logistics Management, such as damages causes and damage rates are updated daily.

    ​​​​​​​Compliance and Safety:

    • Enforce warehouse safety policies.
    • Ensure proper use of material handling equipment.
    • Maintain clean and organized reverse logistics storage areas.

    ​​​​​​​WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    Someone with:

    • Matric or Diploma/Certificate in Supply Chain, Inventory, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. 
    • One to two years of experience in reverse logistics/returns processing background.
    • Experience supervising warehouse staff.
    • Proven experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control software and advance Microsoft Excel skills
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. 
    • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
    • Knowledge of relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices in inventory management. 
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    Customs Delivery Broker

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage and execute customs operations activities to ensure compliance with international customs laws.
    • Handle processes related to the embarkment, disembarkment, entry, exit, movement, deposit, or transit of goods across borders under customs control.
    • Support the framing and processing of customs declarations accurately and timely.
    • Process landing orders and related customs documentation as required.
