    Key Performance Output

    The successful candidate will be reporting to the Commercial Marketing Specialist, and will be responsible but not limited to the following:

    • Support in defining and planning Brand & Marketing Strategy.
    • Drive awareness of a clear corporate identity for Airport Company South Africa. 
    • Ensure governance and compliance to brand specifications and guidelines. 
    • Leverage customer insight data to refine brand management and develop marketing and branding content for the organisation. 
    • Work closely with the various line functions to ascertain the marketing and communications needs and through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions, address the identified needs.
    • Contribute content for the production of annual reports, newsletters and other publications required to communicate offerings from start to end.
    • Conduct RACI to event branding to identify how and where to brand at events. 
    • Conceptualise and manage airport ambience and understanding the regional needs. 
    • Support implementation of ambience concepts.
    • Responsible for the procurement of branded items, banners and handouts.
    • Provide input to overall Corporate Affairs budget.
    •  Manage Brand Marketing Budget. 
    • Track and monitor expenditure.
    • Provide technical / professional support to internal stakeholders to ensure achievement of functional and organisational objectives.
    • Build, support and maintain healthy, diverse internal and external relationships to ensure achievement of organisational goals. Implement remedial actions where required

    Technical Skills and Experience

    The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required: 

    • Bachelor’s degree (3 years – 360 Credits) NQF 7 is essential.
    • 1-3 years marketing and branding operational experience is essential. 
    • Intermediate MS Office proficiency level.

    Supervisor VIP Services.INT ORT.Client Services (Airport Management)

    Key Performance Output 

    The successful candidate will be reporting to the Assistant Manager Passenger Products, and will be responsible but not limited to the following:

    • Ensure that all customers comply with policies and standard operating procedures (SOP)
    •  Adhere to relevant statutory/legislative regulations, SOP's, operational standards, policies and practices 
    • Planning and organising of meetings and events as required by VIP/CIP's and group event organisers
    • Ensure effective internal stakeholders' engagement in preparation for events and meetings
    • Provide input into workforce planning and implement approved labour plans to ensure team is suitably staffed to meet sub-functional objectives
    • Plan, organise, lead and control subordinate's activities to ensure sub-functional objectives are met or exceed
    • Assure stable employee relations by managing conflict and creating a positive working environment
    • Review and recommend changes to SOPs for implementation
    • Assist with the implementation of ad hoc projects within set requirements
    • Compile and submit Operational reports as required
    • Provide relevant and specialised support to relevant stakeholders to ensure achievement of objectives
    • Provide effective communication and education to VIP's and CIPs on Airport services and products
    • Pro-actively identify and attend to and resolve VIP/CIP's queries using the Database
    • Escalate unresolved VIP/CIP queries to relevant stakeholder
    • Engage with external stakeholders to ensure the effective facilitation VIP/CIP's
    • Ensure the availability of the VIP Lounge as per the Business rules and Service Level standard

     Technical Skills and Experience 

    • The following skills and experience will be required:
    • National Senior Certificate is essential 
    • Higher Certificate in Customer Service Environment is recommended. 
    • 1-2 years Supervisory experience is essential 
    • 1-3 years operational experience is recommended. 
    •  Valid Code B driver’s license is essential 
    •  Basic MS Office computer literacy

    General Assistant Trolleys.INT KIA.Airport Operations (Airport Management)

    The successful candidate, reporting to the Senior Supervisor Trolleys, will be responsible for the following:

    • Indicate unserviceable equipment to relevant stakeholders. 
    • Day to day deployment of equipment. 
    • Safeguarding of assets.
    • Adhere to relevant statutory/legislative regulations, SOP's, operational standards, policies and practices. 
    • Mitigation of risk to limit injuries. 
    • Managing the company's risk exposure through identifying, implementing, and maintaining risk control measures to minimise company's liability.
    • Compile and submit general operational constraints reports. 
    • Report on trolley stock levels. 
    • Counting of trolleys as required
    • Liaison and engage with internal stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient operations. 
    • Engage and assist customers when required.
    • Planning of resources in terms of demand and supply. 
    • Monitor resources to ensure operational needs are met

    Technical Skills and Experience

    The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required: 

    • National Senior Certificate Grade 12 is Essential
    • Knowledge of skills required to perform a variety of primarily manual tasks.

    Junior Airport Planner

    Key Performance Outputs

    The successful candidate will be reporting to the Chief Airport Planner and will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

    • Remain up to date with macro and micro-economic conditions, legislation, competition, market sentiment and the aviation industry in general,
    • Provide inputs into national, provincial and local policies, frameworks and plans, informed by airport development plans
    • Provide input into the comments prepared in response to proposed land developments by the Local Authority/ developers.
    • Provide support and input into the formulation of airport development plans.
    • Maintain a good rapport with the regional and local authorities by acting as an interface between ACSA and the regional and local authorities.
    • Proactively lobby for favorable development conditions for the airport,  in line with the airport development plans
    • Ensure adherence to statutory regulations, organisational standards, policies and procedures.
    • Report non-compliance and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance.[PM1] 
    • Coordinate and provide input into the pre-implementation phase of infrastructure projects through specialist studies, inputs into project briefs.
    • Provide specialised support to internal and external stakeholders to ensure achievement of functional and organisational objectives.
    • Establish and monitor healthy, diverse, workable internal and external relationships, including the interface with external providers to ensure departmental/functional needs are met and organisational goals achieved.

    Technical Skills and Experience

    The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such, will be required:

    • Bachelor’s Degree (4 years - 480 credits) NQF Level 8 in Town and Regional Planning 
    • 2 years l experience in Town and Regional Planning or Airport Planning is essential.
    • Registration with industry voluntary association is recommended.
    • Advanced MS Office proficiency level is essential.
