    Warehouse Administrator (Montague Gardens, Cape Town)

    Description

    • Ecowize is looking for a skilled and competent Warehouse Administrator to join the Supply Chain team in Cape Town. The purpose of the role is to oversee and manage stock which includes receiving, issuing and dispatching of stock. The successful incumbent will also ensure the category operates at peak efficiency with customer satisfaction as primary goal.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure productivity, quality and customer service standards are met by processing orders and invoices in a timely manner and daily dispatching of the correct stock.
    • Prevent financial loss to the company by consistently reaching daily, weekly and monthly targets.
    • Inbound freight coordination.
    • Receiving administration.
    • Communication of all receiving discrepancies to relevant parties.

    Requirements

    Driver - Material Handling Equipment (Montague Gardens, Cape Town)

    Description

    • Ecowize is looking for an experienced Reach Truck Driver that will be responsible for material handling of a variety of items to various warehouse locations. The successful incumbent will also be responsible for operating a reach truck and forklift when picking, binning, and moving items and loading and off-loading of items from transporting vehicles.

    High level – Objectives:

    • Picking and binning/ receiving items in the warehouse and yard facility.
    • Load and unload cargo.
    • Adhere and maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
    • Ensure that material handling equipment is well maintained, and faults are reported.
    • Adhere to the picking schedule to ensure that loads are completed on time.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Efficient and effective stock control of receipt and transfer of stock (incoming and outgoing)
    • Accurate checking, scanning and receipt of stock with adherence to all receiving and stock control policies, requirements, and procedures.
    • Planning co-ordination and completing physical verifications of product/stacks (all checks) against picking slips and delivery notes. 
    • Conducting and logging of quality checks (product temperatures) on incoming and outgoing product
    • Conduct verification checks on the computerized stock system.
    • Check all stacks and ensure compliance with company quality standards and stacking requirements.
    • Logging all non-conforming pallets on delivery note and control documents.
    • Commit and comply to the requirements of the 20 Keys continuous workplace improvement programme and any other company management systems.

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12.
    • Valid Forklift driving licence
    • Valid Reach Truck Licence
    • Previous forklift and reach truck driving.
    • Previous chemical handling experience.
    • Previous experience in loading and off- loading trucks with forklift.
    • Previous experience with handling of products with shelf life and expiry dates – LIFO (Last in First Out) vs FIFO (First in First Out).
    • 2 years’ experience in an FMCG environment.
    • Knowledge of warehousing and distribution.
    • Previous warehouse picking/receiving experience.
    • Knowledge of health and safety procedures in warehousing.

    Pest Control and Hygiene Installer - Spartan (JHB East Rand)

    Description

    • Ecowize Pest Control and Hygiene Division is looking for an experienced Installer.
    • The Role requires a candidate with a wireman's license, and ability to work on site in  Gauteng. 

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform the installations at a site convenient to the customer.
    • Communicate with the customers regarding the installation process in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Be able to read and interpret site plans, single line diagrams, electrical schematics, general arrangements and implement this onsite with minimal supervision or support.
    • Complete documentation associated with installations.
    • Provide customer service in accordance with required set standards.
    • In addition, you will have experience in the adherence to and compliance with electrical safety legislations.

    Production Lead (Western Cape)

    Description

    • The Production and Warehouse Manager oversees overall production activities, ensuring cost-effective and timely production. This role includes developing production schedules, applying lean principles, managing warehouse operations via ERP systems, and maintaining ISO compliance. Emphasis is placed on optimization, quality, collaborating with multiple departments, and enforcing health and safety.     Responsibilities

    • Ensure optimal utilization of resources, adherence to production schedules, and cost-control measures throughout the manufacturing process.
    • Apply lean inventory principles to identify and eliminate inefficiencies reducing wastage and excess stock.
    • Coordinate labour, equipment, and materials to optimise throughput and minimise bottlenecks.
    • Set and monitor budget targets for production, evaluating variances and taking corrective actions.
    • Manage all aspects of the warehouse, including inventory control, stock accuracy, and efficient material flow to and from the production lines.

    • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards, ISO 14001/ OSHAS 18001 best practices and local/national regulations for chemical manufacturing and warehousing.

    Internal Auditor (Milnerton/Century City)

    Description

    • Ecowize is looking for an Internal Auditor to join the SHEQ team in Cape Town. The Internal Auditor will be responsible for Continuous Improvement, in developing, implementing, and executing Ecowize Food Safety, Health and safety, quality and environmental management systems.
    • The successful incumbent will also support strategic priorities and business operations to assist Area Managers and Site Managers with any changes and training requirements where risks are identified or where quality standards are not met.

    High-Level Objectives:

    • Compliance Focus - To ensure that all regulatory measures are consistently applied.
    • Customer Focus - Regular, meaningful interactions to drive an inclusive partnership with the Customers SHEQ department. Engage actively with key stakeholders to ensure they understand and actively support the process changes and desired cultural shifts. Provide support and expertise to line management

    • Ensure team is aware of potential food safety risks on site and give guidance on ways to resolve potential risks.
    • Ensure action plans for NCR’s are delivered within required timeframe
    • Ensure training requirements are met to best drive corrective actions to Site Managers to prevent a site from becoming a RED site.
    • Regularly visit sites to ensure goals are met.
    • Sharing innovative ideas within the team and senior management
    • Identify outsourced services that can be done inhouse across divisions.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 (Matric)
    • Degree/ National Diploma or equivalent in Food, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Environmental studies/ Quality qualification (Advantageous)
    • Valid Driver’s Licence and OWN transportation
    • Willing to travel and work shifts
    • 2-3 years relevant work experience (essential)
    • SAMTRAC or equivalent training (Advantageous)
    • Knowledge of the FMCG, food production industry and / or cleaning industry, Auditing, OHS and Environment

    DTP Operator - Marketing (JHB East Rand)

    Description

    • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing branded materials and ensuring that all printed outputs are accurate, professional, and aligned with production schedules. This individual will collaborate with internal teams across regulatory, production, and marketing functions and oversee the print queue to support operational priorities. The position offers a dynamic mix of creative design, hands-on printing coordination, and cross-functional teamwork.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop custom artwork for installations such as shadow boards.
