    Technical Operations Specialist (Western Cape)

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Understand the informal market, retail space, and future trends to make informed decisions
    • Demonstrates leadership in projects, mentoring junior team members.
    • Oversee and report on the progress of integration projects, addressing issues and adjusting plans as necessary.
    • Conduct post-integration evaluations to assess outcomes, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
    • Provide advanced technical support and guidance during integration, and troubleshooting complex technical problems.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery and launch product enhancements internally and externally.
    • Plan, review, and maintain comprehensive project documentation and technical specifications to optimize product performance.
    • Proactively identify, manage, and review project risks, resolving errors and issues.
    • Ensure project compliance with industry standards and regulations.
    • Contribute to ongoing management and strategic development of products.
    • Align business and development teams and other technical/system stakeholders to the developmental roadmap
    • Develop and maintain a prioritized product backlog and roadmap for implementation based on business and team strategy.
    • Create detailed specifications and user stories for product features to ensure clarity for development teams.
    • Act as the primary technical contact for maintenance queries related to products.
    • Manage existing products and related projects.
    • Conduct market research and validate strategic direction with insights and trends from the ground.
    • Research, identify, and determine the viability of product-specific concepts.
    • Lead product enhancements from strategy sign-off through development to launch.
    • Report and analyze product progress and performance.
    • This role requires a proactive mindset to identify gaps in processes, design solutions, and drive the creation and implementation of effective systems.
    • Be available for night work if any deployments are required after hours.

    Requirements

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Matric
    • A Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred.
    • Entry to mid-level certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals are considered beneficial.
    • 3-5 years of experience in technical operations, emphasizing API integrations or DevOps roles. 
    • Proven experience working with development teams and managing complex technical projects.
    • Practical experience in a technical field is required.
    • Previous experience in the informal retail market or fraud will be an advantage.
    • In-depth knowledge of software development and Agile methodologies.

    TECHNICAL SKILLS:

    • Delivers high-quality work across a broader portfolio. 
    • Takes initiative in identifying and resolving issues, improving processes, and contributing to team success & efficiency. 
    • Ensures the stability of API integrations and CI/CD pipelines.
    • Proficient in API integrations, managing CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, Strong understanding of system architecture and enterprise software.

    Area Growth Manager (Nancefield) (Limpopo)

    Description
    Responsibilities:

    • Growing the Flash footprint in the area through all Sales Channels assigned to the sales team
    • To increase the growth of Flash device sales into the market - in turn growing the turnover in the region. Increase overall turnover of all devices and payment channels in line with the department’s strategy and targets.
    • To increase the aqquiting base and turnover by maintaining a high adoption rate when placing Flash devices.
    • Ensure training of all flash products are done at the stores during every visit
    • Deliver and manage the sim card business within your area by merchandising Flash sim stock
    • Manage relationships and maintaining a 90% Red Flag completed calls within the sector to decrease churn.
    • Supporting Kiosk Environment in line with agreed upon structures set in place. Maintaining the necessary relationships with all Kiosk Stakeholders in your region.
    • Map and Geo locate your Trader database to ensure database accuracy.

    Requirements
    Minimum Requirements:

    • 2 to 3 years sales experience or field operation experience
    • Grade 12
    • Read, speak and write in English
    • Fully computer literate (Teams and Excel)
    • Driver’s license required
