    Customer Service Officer - Gauteng DC

    Education & Experience Requirements

    • Matric is essential.
    • A Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain would be advantageous.
    • Minimum 2 years’ relevant work experience in warehousing or a similar environment.
    • Must be computer literate with proficiency in key systems.
    • Strong communication and problem-solving skills are critical.
    • Exceptional attention to detail is required.
    • CHEP & GLS related experience, where working with numerous Customers & Suppliers would be advantageous

    Key Responsibilities

    • Efficiently manage and coordinate all store orders, including Jab orders.
    • Maintain daily communication with store managers and regional teams to ensure seamless operations.
    • Expertly handle and resolve help desk queries in a timely and professional manner.
    • Implement and oversee effective pallet control procedures to maintain operational efficiency.

    Finance Controller - Tongaat DC

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA or CMA preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance controller or similar role.
    • Proficiency in SAP Finance.
    • Strong understanding and management of financial risk and compliance.
    • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and macros.
    • Demonstrated financial analysis problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information.
    • Strong mathematical and accounting skills, with attention to detail.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Compile reports from internal staff on a weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    • Analyse and report on financial data, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
    • Ensure the accuracy of financial reports, implementing rigorous checks and balances.
    • Present weekly profit and loss statements against budget targets, highlighting key variances and trends.
    • Liaise with head office finance teams to ensure the accuracy of monthly profit and loss statements.
    • Manage general ledger postings to ensure completeness and accuracy, maintaining compliance with accounting standards.
    • Forecast against budget targets on a weekly basis, incorporating various factors and adjusting strategies as needed.
    • Lead staff management initiatives, providing guidance and support to the finance team.
    • Manage consumable expenses, optimizing costs while maintaining quality and efficiency.

    Customer Service Manager - Tongaat

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Grade 12 / Matric
    • 3–5 years’ experience in a customer service or operations role within a warehouse or retail environment
    • Prior management/supervisory experience
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
    • Strong communication and coordination skills

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Store Orders Including Jabs

    • Monitor and combine electronic store orders with Jabs, ensuring alignment to the transport plan.
    • Email tonnage, transactions, and strike rate reports to relevant departments.

    Daily Communication to Store Managers and Regionals

    • Engage stores daily for delivery feedback and resolve queries promptly.
    • Share promotion updates, manage overstocks between stores, and analyse store service trends.

    Approving Transport Plan

    • Align the pick plan with the transport plan through coordination with Transport and Floor teams.
    • Ensure routing is cost-effective and orders are adjusted to suit delivery logistics.

    Third-Party Logistics (3PLs)

    • Activate 3PLs when fleet capacity is exceeded, considering cost-effectiveness.
    • Communicate 3PL usage with Transport Planning and Outbound departments.

    Managing Help Desk Queries

    • Resolve queries within SLA and provide weekly updates on outstanding issues.
    • Document queries for analysis and identify service trends.

    Processing Transporter Invoices

    • Verify monthly invoices against store orders and highlight any discrepancies.
    • Sign off and submit invoices to DC Finance.

    Arranging Night Deliveries

    • Coordinate with stores, transport, and security to execute night deliveries with 24-hour notice.
    • Adjust pick and transport plans to support night dispatches.

    Staff Management

    • Oversee attendance, training, discipline, and ensure staff meet KPIs.
    • Conduct store visits to build awareness and assess team effectiveness.

    Pallet Control

    • Reconcile pallets weekly and manage returns from stores and to suppliers.
    • Report non-compliance and communicate reconciliation in KPI meetings.

    National Liquor Buyer

    What we’re looking for:

    • A minimum of 5 years' current buying experience, within the Liquor category within retail/FMCG/wholesale environments (non-negotiable)
    • A relevant 3-year degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, or Marketing (advantageous)
    • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of pricing, promotions, and category performance
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills
    • Experience in systems such as SAP (advantageous)
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
    • A big-picture thinker with an eye for detail and sound administrative follow-through

    What you’ll be responsible for:

    • Leading national and regional supplier trade meetings and negotiations
    • Managing trading term agreements, cycle deals, and promotional grids
    • Owning and delivering on sales, gross profit, and profitability targets for the Liquor category
    • Collaborating with demand planning and ensuring store execution excellence
    • Driving promotions, advertising campaigns, and supplier collaboration
    • Managing stock across stores and distribution centres (DCs)
    • Overseeing ranging, planograms, and product mix for the liquor category
    • Driving innovation in category formats in line with our new generation store rollouts
    • Handling relevant administration, reporting, and master data management
    • Partnering closely with internal stakeholders (marketing, operations, execs) and external suppliers
