    Inbound Planner - East London

    Minimum Requirements:

    • A 3-year Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics
    • 3–5 years of relevant inbound planning or receiving coordination experience
    • Strong knowledge of warehouse receiving procedures and supplier engagement
    • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
    • Familiarity with BOMM, Relex, or similar ERP/planning systems
    • Strong problem-solving, numerical reasoning, and analytical capabilities
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and meet daily deadlines in a high-pressure environment

    Key Responsibilities:

    Prepare and Maintain Inbound Booking Schedules:

    • Update daily schedules by meticulously comparing data from the Bomm System to the existing schedule.
    • Monitor orders placed on the Bomm System to track deliveries and identify any gaps (NO GRV).
    • Analyze receiving invoices and promptly detect instances where no invoice exists, indicating undelivered stock.
    • Collaborate with the Demand Planner and Demand Planning Manager to escalate issues and, if necessary, involve the Buyer.
    • Initiate follow-ups with suppliers, ensuring accurate stock deliveries.
    • If needed, rebook stock deliveries to ensure seamless supply.

    Coordinate Supplier Deliveries for Operational Efficiency:

    • Monitor emails containing orders from demand planners, providing valuable insight into supply requirements.
    • Strategically plan deliveries considering promotional demands, store and RDC stock levels.
    • Collaborate with the Demand Planning team for scheduling discussions and alignment.
    • Validate product details such as quantity, size, packaging, and palletisation.
    • Confirm delivery dates with suppliers and share precise delivery times.
    • Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders regarding delivery schedule changes.
    • When required, reschedule deliveries to accommodate evolving needs.

    Manage Returns and Communication:

    • Receive information from the Outbound Manager about supplier returns.
    • Ensure clear communication with the supplier or third-party Transport Company about returns.
    • Effectively coordinate returns, especially when suppliers deliver additional orders to the DC.

    Inform Suppliers of DC Rules and Regulations:

    • Effectively communicate DC Rules & Regulations to suppliers.
    • Provide guidance on driver and crew attire.
    • Specify the type and size of palettes required at the DC.
    • Clarify delivery time frames and requirements, including staff and palletisation.

    Inbound Manager - Cape Town

    Minimum Requirements

    • Relevant Supply Chain Degree
    • 3 years relevant experience
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Knowledge of Bomm System
    • WMS knowledge
    • Retail and warehouse experience
    • Management skills and experience
    • Problem solving ability

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Receiving:

    • Ensure accurate delivery scheduling and adherence to documented procedures during stock reception.
    • Conduct spot checks on loads exceeding the value of R200,000.
    • Oversee that incoming stock aligns with the warehouse requirements.

    Replenishment:

    • Manage staff allocation and supervise the team effectively under the guidance of the supervisor.
    • Ensure compliance with documented procedures and accurate placement of stock in accordance with warehouse standards.
    • Report empty locations, confirm no stock, and address damaged rack reports.

    Inventory Management:

    • Investigate stock quality, reporting findings to the demand planning team and management for cycle counts.
    • Align physical counts to system stocks through adjustments and follow up on stock discrepancies.

    Reverse Logistics:

    • Accept all uplift notes from stores and sign off on stock write-offs.
    • Ensure accurate capture of write-offs on the system.

    Staff Management:

    • Conduct interviews, recruit, and appoint staff.
    • Identify training needs and supervise, monitor, and measure staff performance.

    Chep Pallets:

    • Ensure the return of all palettes to suppliers.
    • Oversee the coordination of Chep palettes according to established procedures.

    Planners - Pipeline Advert

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Education:Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
    • Experience:2-5 years of experience in relevant planning, logistics, or supply chain roles.
    • Skills:Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), WMS, ERP systems, and relevant planning software. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
    • Industry Experience:FMCG or retail sector experience is highly desirable, especially in demand planning, stock management, and forecasting.

    Key Responsibilities (Depending on Role):

    • Demand Planner:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop accurate demand forecasts, analyse market trends, and ensure timely inventory management.
    • Location Planner:Oversee stock availability, optimise stock flow across DC and stores, manage supplier coordination, and lead a dynamic team.
    • Outbound Planner:Ensure stores are stocked with key promotional items, monitor stock levels, manage order fulfilment, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Inbound Planner:Coordinate supplier deliveries, maintain booking schedules, manage returns, and ensure smooth communication with suppliers and stakeholders.
