    Regional Sales Manager - South

    Your key responsibilities will be

    Leading the Business

    • Owns sales results for Coloplast OC Sales Developers and Territory Managers employed for OC in the Public and Private Sectors of the region.
    • Build and maintain excellent partnership relationships with the Distributor and work in collaboration with Coloplast KAM to ensure Coloplast business goals are met
    • Understands key business drivers and guides priorities for the Team’s in the short-, medium-, and long-term
    • Provides input to split of overall sales target for the region and directs each OC Sales Developer accordingly.
    • Manages shaping and pull through of contracts.
    • Explores and nurtures opportunities for developing new business throughout the region.
    • Acts as a liaison between the sales force and other functions in the organization including the Commercial Development Team, Marketing, Nursing Team, Consumer Care, Key Account Manager, Country Manager, Distributor Partner and Business Support.
    • Has a top line / Turnover and cost / expenses sales responsibility for the region.
    • Aligns resources according to strategic objectives of the sales region.
    • Assists with stock forecasting and appropriate and responsible stock levels in accordance with tenders and contracts for the region
    • Responsible for Key Account Management 

    Leading the Sales Team

    • Recruits and inducts new team members and sources of talent pipeline
    • Translates company business plans into clear and specific actions for the individuals in the Teams.
    • Builds, leads, coaches, and motivates high-performing teams.
    • Responsible for the implementation and effective execution of Coloplast standard sales processes for the OC Sales Developers, including S&T, ASAP, ShowPad, and CRM.
    • Is consistently visible to OC Sales Developers, Distributed team and customers in the field.

    Leading the Individual

    • Responsible for people growth for Coloplast OC Sales Developers and Key Account Manager.
    • Manages each individual OC Sales Developer for performance and results whilst ensuring individuals are empowered in an inclusive environment.
    • Is consistently visible to OC Sales Developers, Distributor teams and customers in the field.
    • Coaches and develops OC Sales Developers, Key Account Manager, to maximize effectiveness and provides open and honest feedback to correct performance.
    •  Leading and driving the Customer
    • Assists with managing major key accounts in the region
    • Maintains a good awareness of competitor activity within the industry and accounts, anticipating issues and opportunities, responding in a timely manner.
    • Develop and maintain personal relationships with key customers to augment selling effort and negotiates contracts with customers at highest level as needed.
    • Ensures strong execution of tender and contract processes.
    • Ensures Coloplast OC products are top of mind with customers due to product quality, value added services and excellent customer procurement processes.

    Professional qualifications

    • We are looking for an experienced, commercially minded account manager with a proven track record of implementing local projects and export experience with high impact.
    • Graduate or post-graduate degree in Nursing, Medicine, Business, Project Management, or similar
    • 10 years Ostomy Care, Wound Care and / or Continence Care experience
    • 10 years Regional Sales Management experience  
    • Documented experience in building and leading high-performing Teams to success (ideally +5 years)
    • Successful track record in delivering sales targets
    • Experienced sales coach
    • Strong documented business acumen combined with interpreting analytical insight for action
    • Previous medical sales experience with proven success
    • Excellent numerical skills with an analytical approach to Marketing and the ability to construct fact-based recommendations and business cases
    • Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and CRM systems
    • Strong communication and presentation skills in addition to the ability to engage with different cultures in the South region 
    • Strong clinical and medical product knowledge

    Stoma Nurse and Educator: KwaZulu Natal

    Major Areas of Accountability

    Represent Coloplast as a Clinical Expert

    • Maintain professional credentials and education to maintain status as a clinical expert through board certification as a nurse.
    • Act as a clinical liaison to ostomates with regards to planned surgical procedure, impact of living with a stoma and ostomy care.
    • Support in-hospital stoma clinics in conjunction with hospital employed staff.
    • Set up new stoma clinics for follow up visits for end users.
    • Deliver education programs to a diverse group of internal and external customers and end users.
    • Attend approved national and regional conferences and tradeshows as a Coloplast representative.
    • Report back to senior leadership key clinical learnings and opportunities.

    Essential Qualifications

    • Registered Nurse with a bachelor’s degree
    • Preferred SASA Stoma certification
    • 2+ years’ experience in a clinical setting working with patients and/or end users
    • Previous medical industry experiences an asset
    • Domestic travel required
    • Must permanently reside in the greater Durban area

    Consumer Care Specialist - Sandton

    Essential duties and responsibilities:   

    Community Lead engagement and capturing

    • Engage with leads generated from marketing campaigns, inbound calls, and directly from the Webshop. 
    • Accurately capture all leads, ensuring CRM quality and completeness is maintained for each contact. 
    • Call all assigned leads within SLA, expertly recommend the appropriate product to meet their needs and provide them with samples as per SOP. 
    •  Pack, dispatch, and record all sample parcels as per SOP. 

     Consumer campaign execution:

    •  Engage with, and up / cross sell to leads and consumers as per campaign needs.
    •  Stay up to date with all campaign training material and alert the Consumer Care Lead to any gaps in knowledge.  
    •  Timeously document campaign feedback and insights from consumers as per Campaign SOPs.

     Consumer sales and support through the e-commerce platform:

    •  Support consumers with placing and paying for their orders.
    •  Validate all new Webshop and MyOstomy app leads within SLA and as per SOP.

     Consumer-centric communication:

    •  Portray a positive company image and engage in professional and consumer-centric communication with customers.
    •  Consumer queries/Complaints
    •  Answer emails timeously to ensure that queries are responded to within SLA.
    •  Complete all tasks as per SLA and escalate complaints to the Consumer Care Lead timeously. 

     Consumer Care Program:

    •  Engage with consumers enrolled in the Care Program via phone calls/email/SMS/WhatsApp as per SOP and Talk Tracks. 
    •  Meet predefined KPIs with regards to quality of care and consumer engagement volumes. 
    •  Establish and maintain customer relationships for a lifetime dialogue. Retain existing consumers through excellent support and high satisfaction levels. 

    General duties:

    •  Stay up to date with and comply with all SOPs and talk tracks and provide suggestions for improvement.
    •  Ad hoc Consumer service-related projects which come about from time to time. Support CSS Team as required.
