    Financial Controller (Western Cape)

    Description

    • The Financial Controller will assist in forecasting and variance analysis to support business planning and decision‑making. They will also assist with the monthly close process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and reporting outputs

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Contribute to preparing the Quarterly reporting packs
    • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes
    • Ownership of the fixed asset register 
    • Assist in financial analysis of divisions 
    • Inventory accounting and ownership of inventory related reconciliations 
    • Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
    • Liaise with the Financial Manager to improve monthly reporting packs
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on Inventory and fixed assets
    • Handle queries and concerns related to fixed assets and inventory 
    • Stay updated with industry best practices and introduce process improvements as necessary

    Requirements

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • 7+ years of experience in financial control and management (This can be inclusive of articles etc)
    • Completed BCom degree in Finance and possibly Honours/CA (advantageous) 
    • Formal training in Accounting and VAT
    • Expertise in financial reporting and compliance
    • Proven track record in managing financial teams
    • Advanced Excel (not negotiable)
    • Knowledge of SAGE (preferable)

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE / TECHNICAL SKILLS:

    • Financial control and reporting proficiency
    • Regulatory compliance expertise
    • Budgeting and forecasting proficiency
    • Proven track record in managing financial teams
    • Knowledge & ability to identify risk in projects
    • SAP (advantageous)
    • Caseware (advantageous)

    Area Growth Manager (Paarl) (Western Cape)

    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Growing the Flash footprint in the area through all Sales Channels assigned to the sales team
    • To increase the growth of Flash device sales into the market - in turn growing the turnover in the region. Increase overall turnover of all devices and payment channels in line with the department’s strategy and targets.
    • To increase the aqquiting base and turnover by maintaining a high adoption rate when placing Flash devices.
    • Ensure training of all flash products are done at the stores during every visit
    • Manage relationships and maintaining a 90% Red Flag completed calls within the sector to decrease churn.
    • Supporting Kiosk Environment in line with agreed upon structures set in place. Maintaining the necessary relationships with all Kiosk Stakeholders in your region.
    • Map and Geo locate your Trader database to ensure database accuracy.

    Requirements

    • 2 to 3 years sales experience or field operation experience
    • Grade 12
    • Read, speak and write in English

    Senior Software Developer ( Java Springboot) (Western Cape)

    Description

    Day to day responsibilities will include:

    • Technical architectural design
    • Develop and document design, source code and technical architecture
    • Maintain and manage existing source code
    • Design, develop and implement solutions to users’ needs and requirements
    • Review and improvise code
    • Run tests and fix bugs

    • Versed in DevOps methodology including setting up CI/CD pipelines.
