    Integrated Sales Representative - Cold Chain

    Position Summary

    • We are seeking a dynamic and strategic individual for the role of Integrated Sales Representative to contribute our sales and business development efforts for our cold chain Vertical in South Africa & Islands.
    • This role will be responsible for driving metric based customer-centric solutions across ocean, landside logistics, warehousing, and distribution for temperature-controlled cargo, ensuring Maersk is the partner of choice for cold chain logistics. This individual contributor will report to the Head of Integrated Sales - Cold Chain.

    Key Responsibilities

    Client Strategy and planning.

    • Manage and develop the relationship with the contractual customer in line with Maersk/global strategy.
    • Develop the value proposition to match the customers needs both locally and by engaging the network.
    • Work closely with local product organization to grow and deliver revenue growth supporting the local product P&L.
    • Develop business plan for increasing overall supply chain Share of Wallet and position Logistic & Services products.
    • Grow presence across products through new opportunities and with the customers extended supply chain Responsible for Customer Satisfaction.
    • Support the overall customer experience and increasing customer satisfaction Deliver client profitability as per budget.
    • Ensure successful business onboarding and contract compliance Customer Relationship.
    • Position Maersk towards the local influencers of the global tender success and towards local decision makers on country relevant products.

    Head of Integrated Sales - Cold Chain

    Position Summary

    • We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Integrated Sales – Cold Chain to lead our sales and business development efforts for our cold chain Vertical in South Africa & Islands.
    • This leadership role will be responsible for driving customer-centric solutions across ocean, landside logistics, warehousing, and distribution for temperature-controlled cargo, ensuring Maersk is the partner of choice for cold chain logistics. The role reports to Area Sales Director - South Africa Area with around 10 direct reports.

    Key Responsibilities

    Commercial Leadership:

    • Develop and execute the sales strategy for Maersk’s cold chain solutions in South Africa.
    • Drive revenue growth and market share by building strong partnerships with customers in agriculture, seafood & other perishable sectors.

    People Leadership:

    • Build, coach, and lead a high-performing cold chain sales team.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement.

    Customer Engagement:

    • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, identifying their supply chain challenges and delivering integrated, end-to-end cold chain solutions.
    • Lead high-level negotiations and sponsor strategic customer accounts.

    Collaboration & Integration:

    • Partner with regional and global product, operations, and procurement teams to deliver consistent value to customers.
    • Ensure seamless integration of ocean, warehousing, trucking, and customs solutions for temperature-sensitive cargo.

    Market Development:

    • Analyze market trends and customer demands to identify opportunities and risks.
    • Drive the growth of the cold chain vertical, leveraging our strategic Cold Storage Hubs for perishables as well as Chilled & Frozen cargo.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Commercial leadership experience in logistics, supply chain, or cold chain solutions.
    • Strong understanding of containerized shipping & integrated logistics with a focus on perishable and temperature-controlled supply chains.
    • Establishing & developing high performance team.
    • Proven track record of sales growth, account management, and building long-term customer relationships.
    • Deep knowledge of the South African and regional cold chain market.
    • Experience of working on related tools and applications.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

    CHB Quality Assurer

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Determine correct and compliant HS code classifications for all customs declarations.
    • Quality check all types of customs declarations processed through the CHB execution department.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements set out by relevant authorities.
    • Check and process import and export documents, including bills of entry, permission letters, and ad-hoc procedures.
    • Advise on trade agreements, customs tariff classifications, and customs valuations.
    • Undertake functions with various external parties, including S.A.B.S., NCRS, and SAPS.
    • Highlight opportunities for process automation and improvement.
    • Ensure quality standards are met and processes are adequately documented.
    • Maintain accurate records and update staff and clients on new developments and notices.

    Who We Are Looking For

    Someone with:

    • Grade 12 (Matric) with Logistics/Freight Forwarding & Clearing Certificate.
    • SDS Clearing Part II certificate (Advanced clearing) or equivalent.
    • 3–5 years’ experience in a quality assurance role.
    • Proficiency in Excel, OneNote, Microsoft Teams, Outlook
    • Fluent in English. Experience in Cargo Wise is a benefit.

    ICX Customer Experience Consultant

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage the end-to-end shipment process for small/mid-sized customers (Essential Services Customers) in compliance with all company procedures.
    • Ensure timely and effective resolution of customer issues by engaging relevant internal stakeholders.
    • Handle a customer portfolio and perform financial situation follow-up, as well as overall business customer business knowledge.
    • Execute all assigned tasks efficiently and with a responsibility and open mindset for changes and adjustments.
    • Respond promptly to daily emails and calls (external/internal) and provide excellent customer service.
