Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain full set of books to trial balance for multiple clients.
• Process daily, weekly, and monthly transactions in accounting systems (e.g., Pastel, Sage, Xero).
• Reconcile bank, cashbook, debtors, creditors, and other ledger accounts.
• Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE, UIF, and other statutory returns.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable cycles.
• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts.
• Liaise with clients to obtain necessary documentation.
• Handle SARS e-filing and liaise with SARS on queries.
• Support the accounting team with year-end audits and financial statements.
• Maintain proper filing and recordkeeping in line with firm protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

Qualification:

• Diploma or Certificate in Bookkeeping / Accounting (e.g., ICB, SAIPA, or similar).
• Advanced Excel skills preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years’ bookkeeping experience in an accounting firm.
• Experience with accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or Pastel.
• Strong knowledge of VAT, PAYE, and SARS compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse floor staff.
• Ensure accurate receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch of FMCG products.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and safety standards.
• Allocate tasks and shifts to warehouse operatives to optimize workflow.
• Inspect inventory for damage or discrepancies; report and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness on the warehouse floor.
• Implement and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Conduct daily team briefings and report performance to the Warehouse Manager.
• Assist in cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Train new warehouse operatives and ensure adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Degree/Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain is a plus).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the FMCG sector.
• Prior experience in a supervisory role is required.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and discipline staff effectively.
• Knowledge of FIFO, FEFO, and inventory control best practices.
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word, Email).
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements

• A valid Drivers License.
• Must have at least 3 years of experience as Aftersales Consultant in a high-end volume or premium brand franchised dealership.
• BMW experience will be advantageous.
• Must preferably have working knowledge of Kerridge.
• Extremely well presented and articulate
• Contactable references.
• Reliable transport to work.
• Stay with 30km driving distance from Paarl.
• Must be able to speak Afrikaans and English
