    Contractor Logistics - Parts Sales & Supply Kaizen [6 Months Contract]

    Job Description

    • The main purpose of the position is to oversee supply chain management and to improve business development to improve customer service and satisfaction. This also includes management of new projects for sales enhancement.

    DURATION:

    • 6 Months Fixed Term Contract

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

    • KPI Creation, Management and Reporting
    • Organize and plan project tasks and schedules.
    • Communicate project status to stakeholders and key project participants.
    • Facilitate & encourage collaboration across departments to ensure success in all project completion.
    • Create presentations and reports to communicate project status.
    • Develop method of change management inclusive of ownership of documentation library, process training and communication plans.
    • Project Planning.
    • Data Analysis and Data interpretation.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • NQF Level 5 (240 credits – level 8 framework) – Industrial Engineering / Statistics/ Mathematics or similar data management related qualifications.
    • Minimum 2 years working experience, working in a team and influencing others (Project management environments within logistics/ supply chain).
    • Strong Project Administration / Management skills & knowledge.
    • Data set up & Analytics knowledge (Data processing, Develop reports & analysis, Training End-Users).
    • Microsoft Office, SAP and BIG Data Tools.
    • Microsoft Power BI reporting background.
    • Must be able to work independently and be able to solve problems.
    • Must be able to manage multiple Projects.
    • Ability to work with various stakeholders.

    Contractor Logistics - Logistics Engineer x2 [6 Months Contract]

    About Job

    • A vacancy exists within the customer service division and is based at the Parts Distribution Centre in Atlas Road. The incumbent of this position will fulfil the necessary requirements within the company to meet the objectives with regards to,
    • Design and Development of Internal Planning functions.
    • Design of conveyance activities
    • Trolley/Packaging design
    • Process design & optimization.
    • Layout design & optimization
    • Transport planning & Cost Management

    DURATION

    • 6 Months Contract

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
    • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to company standards.
    • Coordinate project activities, monitor progress, and proactively identify and resolve any issues or obstacles.
    • Conduct engineering analysis, feasibility studies, and calculations to support warehouse design decisions.
    • Rack design and configuration (designing data driven racking layout).
    • Identify opportunities to optimize warehouse operations, streamline processes, and enhance productivity.
    • Report on warehouse space usage and conduct space creation projects.
    • SHE Adherence.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    • NQF Level 6 (Min. 360 credits - Level 8 framework) Industrial / Mechanical Engineering / Supply Chain Management / related
    • Min. 2-3 years postgraduate experience in project management and engineering within automotive and/ distribution centre environment.
    • Insight & expertise to initiate and implement successful Kaizen projects.
    • Experience in Warehouse Storage Planning - Advantageous
    • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including material handling equipment, storage racking systems and conveyor systems.

    Contractor Logistics Inventory Control [12 Months Contract]

    About Job

    • Vacancy exists in the Inventory Control & Procurement Department, which is part of the Customer Service Division based in Boksburg Office (Atlas Road). This position reports to the Procurement Manager and will focus on the Supply Chain and Inventory Management.

    CONTRACT DURATION

    • 12 Months Contract
    • KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
    • Overall Inventory Management
    • Manage dealer back-order aging
    • Maintain Inventory stock months
    • Manage forecast performance
    • Manage ETD Accuracy
    • Supplier Management

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • NQF Level 6 with 360 credits on level 8 framework (Bachelor’s degree / Advanced Diploma/ B Tech) Engineering, Supply Chain Management/Finance Management/Business Administration Management/Logistics Management or similar
    • Minimum 3 years working experience in Supply Chain/ Logistics/ Procurement.
    • Project Management & automotive industry experience would be an advantage.
    • Good communication and negotiation skills (verbal and written)
    • PC Literacy (MS Office Packages) Excel, Word & Powerpoint
    • MRP system application experience, such as SAP,

    COMPETENCIES:

    • Logistics & Supply Chain Operations: Experience managing transportation, warehousing, inventory, and global shipping.
    • Order Management: Manage customer demand by forecasting and issuing purchase orders to suppliers locally and internationally.
    • Project Management: Proven track record of leading cross-functional projects with timelines, budgets, and KPIs.
    • Analytical & Strategic Skills: Strong data analysis and forecasting abilities to support decision-making in supply planning, vendor performance, and cost optimization.
    • Collaboration & Communication: Excellent coordination with internal teams and external partners; strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills in dynamic environments.
    • Awareness of situations, decisiveness and ability to create an innovative vision
    • Perseverance
