    Marketing Executive - UK Reporting lines

    Requirements

    • Support marketing planning and execution.
    • Research, analyse and run marketing campaigns for both B2B and B2C, targeting key customer opportunities.
    • Analyse the market and complete an annual competitive analysis, be able to identify new products on the market and use the information to position our products in an effective way.
    • Develop and implement internal and external marketing communications.
    • Aid in the administration and coordination of marketing activities.
    • Assist in the brainstorming of written and image content for our marketing channels, including email marketing.
    • Assist in the development and expansion of our social media channels, including blogs and case studies.
    • Maintain detailed KPIs, measure and report the results of marketing initiatives.

    Requirements:

    • A relevant third level qualification in a related discipline - Business or Marketing.
    • Up to 1 years’ experience in general marketing.
    • Experience using Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
    • Experience in using Canva and Photoshop and Video editing software is desirable but not essential.
    • Detail focused with a willingness to learn and develop.

    Pricing Analyst Intern

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    Price and Margin Analysis

    • Help the business understand pricing and margins to aid business decisions
    • Accurate reporting of Margin Analysis for month-end reporting
    • Assist in the completion of management presentations to explain month-end performance in relation to pricing and margin and attend business reviews
    • Discount analysis and margin reporting for use in commission schemes 
    • Maintaining business models for profitability
    • Pricing for large contracts and tenders
    • Ensure necessary controls are in place to guarantee approval levels are adhered to when submitting bids.
    • Maintain pricing / price list within the business in relation to Vantage
    • Liaise with Marketing, Bids & Tenders and Contracts Departments for new product launches and tenders

    Financial Reporting 

    • Delivery of accurate and timely management information:
    • Monthly reporting of Key Account Performance  along with regular performance reviews with operational management.
    • Ad-hoc analysis and reporting as requested by senior management.
    • To provide commentary and investigate changes in management information to add value to reports and aid understanding of changing business performance.
    • To respond to queries with data accuracy and follow up with investigations of data sources where required.
    • To change and adapt management information as required to meet business needs.
    • To provide assistance and support to the  Management Accountants to ensure the accuracy of accounting information.
    • To actively support the Finance Team in the successful delivery of key business initiatives and projects.

    Analysis

    • Maintain open and good relations with the operations director / Sales Director / Area Commercial Financial Controller and the branch managers. 
    • Support  their understanding of key financial processes and measures, and their role in providing timely and good quality information to support business processes.
    • Challenge and develop their understanding of commercial performance measures and suggest ways to improve.
    • Provide assistance and support to their reporting and data needs to manage their business.
    • Understand challenges, customer and business performance issues that are specific to individual areas.
    • Provide explanation and understanding of Budget targets to branch managers, and collate feedback to Finance of key issues.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Newly qualified Graduate in /Finance/Accounting degree/diploma 
    • Grade 12/ (Matric)
    • Some database knowledge Qlik, Big Query, Data Studio would be beneficial but not essential
    • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
    • Ability to build strong, positive relationships with all candidates & key stakeholders
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office (especially Microsoft Excel) and Google suite
    • Ability to work in a hybrid environment
