Duties:

Duties:  

• Collect from school, take to extra-murals, assist with and supervise homework, run general family errands, grocery shopping on your behalf, engaging in intellectually stimulating play & activities with child, bathing your children, prepare meals for your children, prepare dinner for your family, occasional Babysitting and weekend work (by prior arrangement), travel with the family - Flexible to be available occasionally during weekends.
• Flexible to be able to stay overnight if needed and to get child ready for school and drop off child after overnight stay. Flexible to travel if needed. 
• Able to create a safe and nurturing environment for the child

Requirements:

•  Age 21 to 30 years old, non-smoker. 
• Must be a discreet individual who can work independently and as a team member. 
• Possess exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities. 
• Strong work ethic, and a passion for working with children of similar age. 
• Energetic, respectful, and responsible character with a positive attitude who is able to maintain a professional demeanor. Excellent proficiency in English including reading, writing and comprehension. 
• Fun and active individual who is physically able to perform the duties of the position. 
• First aid required. 
• Has a valid drivers license and roadworthy car. 
• Willing to sign confidentiality agreement and adhere to highest level of discretion. 
• Computer literate and able to manage email correspondences & phone messages. 
• Language skills, in French and/ or Shona, is a bonus and musical skills including reading music and playing piano or another musical instrument is a bonus.
• Flexibility required and a significant advantage would be a verifiable successful (and preferably stable and long term) track record of Au pairing for children of my child’s age and experience with ECD curriculums like teaching them to read, write, sums etc. as part of their development.

• The Grade 3 requires assistance with homework and the cementing of concepts learnt during school, general childcare, assisting with family errands and anything childcare related.

Duties: 

• Transporting of children to and from activities
• Overseeing academic "homework" (the children are homeschooled, the parents will still be teaching the children primarily). 
• Actively engage and be proactive in playing games ect.  when looking after children and accompanying children on outings. 
• Prepare meals for kids and family, help to care for pets (2 dogs & hamsters). 
• Also assist with general errands, as personal household assistant . 
• Willing to assist with dishes and laundry in time of housekeeper absence

Requirements:

• Afrikaans, between 25-35.
• Drivers license. 
• Experience working with and love for children
• Salary: R16 500 - R18 500 per month depending on age and experience + petrol and use of vehicle during working hours
