    Customer Service and General Office Admin Intern

    As an Intern you will learn how to and perform task such as

    • Logging the warranty replacement sensors into a spreadsheet
    • Preparing the warranty replacement parcel for dispatch using DSV system.
    • Following up on warranty replacements delivery queries (calls and emails)
    • Keeping a check on warranty replacements stock levels
    • Monthly report on warranty replacements and samples shipped.
    • Occasional promo material shipping.
    • Arrange faulty devices collections with courier services.
    • Prepare faulty devices packing list, commercial invoice, and courier waybill for UK shipments.
    • Filing
    • General office admin.
    • Deliver paperwork to other divisions.
    • Collect paperwork from other divisions.
    • Filing.
    • Clean up existing filing.
    • Maintain filing.
    • Metro filing.
    • Organize & label files in fireproof store room.
    • Photocopies.
    • Scanning.
    • Refill printer paper.
    • Place orders for printer cartridges.
    • Prepare sales reps’ FOC reports & delivery notes for checking.

    Requirements:

    • MUST have a Tertiary qualification in Business Admin or Logistics or related .
    • MUST have NO prior internships or formal working experience

    Junior Supply Chain specialist

    What You’ll Do:

    • Partner with 3PL and cross-functional teams to evaluate metrics for success on key projects.
    • Working cross-functionally with procurement, operations, supply chain, finance, freight forwarders and brokerage teams on any projects where support is required.
    • Working cross-functionally with all Abbott divisions to assist with the implementation of the Catapult implementation project.
    • Supporting CFS Logistics team in identify gaps / opportunities in warehouse practices / processes.
    • Support QA teams on investigation of product quality complaints and deviations when related to Supply Chain and Logistics processes.
    • Handle all correspondence in a timely and effective manner through proactive and responsive communication to internal and external business partners.
    • Prepare Executive Level presentations as required.
    • Support CFS Logistics team in overcoming roadblocks to ensure delivery is made in line with internal and external customer requirements, ensure quality and timeliness.
    • Support CFS Logistics Team with monitoring 3PL performance though KPI management.

    Required Qualifications

    • Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or Operations or equivalent.

    Preferred Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years Supply Chain and Logistics experience within medical industry preferred.
    • Experience in working with and implementing ERP and Warehouse Management systems.
    • A strong understanding and knowledge of technology and systems within the Supply Chain and Logistics environment.
    • Experience with SAP 4/H (implementation/user)

    Sales and Key Accounts Manager

    What You’ll Do:

    • Develop & Drive Sales Solutions: Create strategies to grow sales and gain market access for ADC’s product portfolio.
    • Achieve Sales Targets: Meet national sales targets and goals set by the Business Unit Manager.
    • Manage Key Accounts: Oversee retailer, hospital groups, and wholesaler accounts, ensuring all contractual obligations and services are met.
    • Collaborate with Healthcare Providers: Work with private hospital groups and the National Department of Health to secure future business through tender/formulary submissions.
    • Lead Account Management: Coordinate activities, planning, and resource allocation to maximize sales growth and brand advocacy.
    • Customer Engagement: Take ownership of key customers to ensure optimal product portfolio growth.
    • Implement Marketing Strategies: Execute promotional campaigns across the ADC product and service portfolio.
    • Develop Team Skills: Enhance the selling skills and product knowledge of team members through coaching and field visits.
    • Monitor Performance: Track the sales team’s performance and activities using the Abbott-approved CRM tool.
    • Event Planning: Assist with planning and executing healthcare professional meetings and events.
    • Administrative Management: Handle all sales team-related management and admin tasks, including annual leave planning, expense reports, and conference schedules.
    • Recruitment and Staffing: Manage the recruitment and deployment of staff within the geographical area.
    • Data Analysis and Budget Management: Oversee regional data analysis, administration, and budget management.
    • Utilize FOC Stock: Ensure effective use of FOC stock to meet business obligations.
    • Project Management: Lead projects to improve internal and customer effectiveness.
    • Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with quality system requirements.
    • Customer Feedback: Modify proposals and plans based on customer feedback.
    • Business Development: Represent the sales management team in wider business development projects.

    Required Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s in business or health sciences, or significant sales management experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare.
    • Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a sales manager or in a leadership role with a proven track record.
    • Skills: Strong experience in pharmaceutical or medical devices, wholesaler and retailer relationship management, influencing key stakeholders, presenting, negotiating, coaching, prioritization, and time management.
    • Healthcare Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the healthcare landscape in South Africa.
    • Travel: Ability to travel locally and internationally (40%-50% travel required).
    • Field Work: Minimum of 4 days per week infield with sales reps across South Africa.
    • License: Must have a valid license and reliable vehicle.
