    Fixed Assets Administrator

    What you’ll have done before:

    Baseline: 

    • NQF Level 5 (Higher Certificate in Accounting or related) .
    • 2 years’ experience in an Administration.
    • Understanding of Accounting principles/practices.

    Advantageous:

    •  Knowledge of relevant Accounting Standards.

    • Collaborate with various stakeholders [internal and external] to ensure that accurate data is timeously recorded.
    • Deliver excellence, amidst tight deadlines.

    What you’ll be doing:

    • Verify completeness and accuracy of information supplied for Asset Capitalisation.
    • Create and capitalize assets into the Fixed Asset Register.
    • Create new MRN records.
    • Ensure all assets created are linked to a physical business location.
    • Expense vs. Capital requisition review for compliance to IFRS and Engen policy.
    • Accurate recording of asset transfers.
    • Accurate recording of asset retirements / disposals.
    • Ensure Job Family/Divisional alignment with customer and stakeholder strategy and policy.
    • Engage internal customers and stakeholders on service/delivery needs.
    • Ensure related SLA's adhered to.
    • Manage relations with relevant stakeholders.

    Category Manager: Maintenance & Equip

    What You'll have done before:

    Baseline:

    •  NQF Level 7 (Degree in Supply Chain / Transport Economics or related).
    • 8 years Procurement experience including developing/executing sourcing strategy.
    • Appropriate Vendor Selection or Vendor Performance Management.
    • Procurement Category Management experience.

    Advantageous:

    • Degree in Engineering.
    • Certification equivalent to CIPS.
    • Experience in national company.
    • Commercial analysis/negotiation experience.

    • Manage Contract Management System.
    • Engaging with regulatory Stakeholders and external participants in the oil and gas industry.

    What You'll be doing:

    CATEGORY MANAGEMENT:

    • Manage the assigned sub-category by building and executing strategic sourcing plans and category management plan supported by in-depth analysis of purchasing demand, supplier, market, price/cost structures, generate suppliers bid list and assessment criteria, execute the bidding process, drive the negotiation strategy and prepare & operationalize the contract to ensure delivery of business objectives

    SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

    • Develop and ensure sustainable and effective supplier relationship management through reliable supply base and build partnerships with strategic suppliers, lead pre-qualification of potential suppliers, develop clear strategy to optimize allocation of spend across suppliers, review supplier performance and assess supplier risks, develop supplier segmentation by category, interface with senior suppliers executives to set supplier management targets, manage end-to-end contract management life cycle and develop mitigation plans to ensure delivery and performance of suppliers as per agreed SLA's.

    PROCUREMENT SAVINGS:

    • Deliver on sub-category savings and goals in alignment with sub-categories savings targets and operational goals with Category Head in order to drive execution of initiatives to achieve targets and goals.

    PROCURE TO PAY PROCESS MANAGEMENT:

    •  Monitor and drive smooth execution of transaction process by providing visibility to business, managing and escalating transactional risks to ensure delivery of business objectives.

    BUSINESS INTERFACING AND SUPPORT:

    • Drive interactions with business to understand requirements and align on demand planning and forecasts using relevant division's business plans to develop effective procurement strategy and ensure alignment with CPO, Category Heads and Transactional Head.

    Workshop Supervisor - Langlaagte

    What you'll have done before:

    Baseline:

    • NQF Level 6 (Diploma in Mechanics/ Maintenance/ Engineering or relevant).
    • Qualified Diesel Mechanic.

    Advantageous:

    • Degree/ B-Tech in Mechanics.
    • 3 years post trade test experience in the Fuel industry with specific experience in Transport workshops'
    • Experience in Operations/Distribution & Procurement business processes.
    • Experience in Transport workshop operations and procedures.

    What you'll be doing:

    Budget Management.

    • Manage costs and ensure that the spend is within agreed budget and timelines.
    • Track monthly cost centre spend.
    • Report on monthly variances.
    • Fleet Maintenance.
    • Ensure that the records are documented, and workshop procedures are being followed.
    • Comply with maintenance standing instructions, policies and procedures.
    • Manage post repair fleet inspections.
    • Ensure that SAP PM is updated.
    • Consolidate weekly workshop report and submit as required.
    • Updated maintenance schedule.
    • Manage workshop equipment and infrastructure maintenance.
    • Ensure that the asset register is in line with assets in workshop.
    • Ensure that management audit is carried out on ad hoc basis.

    Customer & Stakeholder Coordination

    • Coordinate adherence to customer and stakeholder policy and procedure.
    • Provide support and guidance to customers.
    • Adheres to customers SLAs.
    • Conduct audits on customer for compliance to governance and business procedures.
    • Liaise with contractor on deliverables.
    • Follow up on timelines and performance measures.

    HR Processes Compliance

    • Follow HR procedures.
    • Manage day-to-day performance of staff and non-performance through performance process.
    • Manage team delivery based on targets/outputs.
    • Facilitate knowledge and skills transfer within the team.
    • Coach and mentor individuals.

    HSEQ Compliance Coordination

    • Communicate HSEQ procedures.
    • Ensure compliance to HSEQ policies and procedures.
    • Ensuring strict compliance to Engen's HSEQ policies by subordinates and contractors.
