    GM – Hospitality (General Hospitality Management Couple)

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    •  Must have proven hospitality experience within Southern Africa and previous experience in a similar role is essential. References will be required
    • Efficient management of day-to-day hospitality operations including hospitality, guest relations, staff rosters, housekeeping, breakfast service & food offerings, maintenance, sales & marketing, and employee relations, ensuring the property and guest rooms are maintained at the highest standard of cleanliness and comfort
    • Ensure that the asset is well looked after and all capital expenditure requirements are well thought through, costed and scheduled accordingly
    • Checking and reporting of required maintenance work (in accordance with the above and budgets).
    • Strong practical maintenance skills given the rural nature of the location
    • Responsible for maintaining and managing all inventories & stocks
    • Responsible for swift handling and resolving of guest needs, requirements, and compliments and complaints Efficiently manage online guest reviews
    • Ensure all online and social media platforms are managed and are reflective of the establishment.
    • Responsible for all operational accounting related duties i.e., daily cash-up, petty cash & monthly purchases accounts recons
    • Good understanding of budgets and forecasting
    • Monthly reporting and commentary to support office on actual financial performances vs budgets Must have excellent communication and staff relation skills
    • Inspires, motivates, and maintains good staff relations and productivity Schedule and direct staff’s daily duties
    • Provides on-going staff training and development
    • Excellent computer communication skills - MS office, email, PMS (current system is Semper)
    • Able to work hospitality shifts and hours and maintain a good work-life balance

    Assistant Farm Manager - FM002004

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Diploma/ Degree in Agriculture advantageous
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Agriculture
    • Previous macadamia or sugarcane experience
    • Computer literate
    • Must be a hardworking, disciplined and motivated individual
    • Strong record keeping skills
    • Maintenance/Mechanically orientated
    • Ability to speak Zulu advantageous

    Technical Manager - FM002006

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Masters Diploma / NQF level 8
    • Professionally qualified and experienced specialists and mid- management
    • Up to 4 years experience in a similar role

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Oversee and manage business unit technical and operational processes, ensuring alignment with the business objectives.
    • Lead divisional technical teams with a hands-on management style, providing independent oversight and guidance to the business units technical teams.
    • Foster strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with suppliers and internal stake holders.
    • Review and guide cost management across the business unit, ensuring optimisation and excellence.
    • Ensure clear and accurate communication on all aspects relating to the technical functions with the Executive Technical Services.
    • Guide and review technical elements for the annual budget, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
    • Monitor divisional operations and technical aspects, including vehicle maintenance, unplanned failures and quality.

    • Conduct stock checks, oversee stock orders, and manage supplier relations to ensure quality control.
    • Maintain tyre maintenance standards and supervise fleet management, including scheduling of vehicle services and tyre checks.
    • Work with the Group technical team regarding fleet disposal and purchases to ensure operational efficiency.
    • Carry out review of reporting, weekly and monthly, ensuring clear analytics of the key aspects raised in the reports align with the business. Provide practical, clear corrective actions to the divisional executive and management teams maintaining highest levels of quality.

    Senior Production Manager - FM002001

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Agricultural Diploma/Degree
    • Min of 10 previous years vegetable farm management experience
    • Strong management and leadership qualities
    • Computer literate
    • Strong admin and record keeping skills, good in problem solving, good interpersonal relationships, must be a good communicator
    • Energetic & hands-on hardworking individual
    • Somebody who can take ownership, come up with new ideas, and works independently and proactively
    • Valid driver’s license

     RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Supervise, coordinate and implement full functions of a senior production manager to produce excellent quality vegetables, increase efficiencies and productivities.
    • Lead the team to success.
    • Ensure correct chemical and fertilizer applications throughout the season.
    • Implement and report on budgets, forecasts and actuals.
