    Human Resources Specialist (Employment Equity & Compliance)

    Description

    • Design and implement comprehensive strategies and initiatives related to Employment Equity (EE), Diversity and Inclusion (DEI) aligned with organisational
      goals;
    • Facilitate Employment Equity (EE) committee meetings;
    • Review and implement policies and procedures related to Employment Equity (EE) and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI);
    • Design and implement the Employment Equity Plan, leading targeted affirmative action strategies to address demographic imbalances and ensure alignment with equity policies and regulatory standards;
    • Coordinate and prepare for audits or inspections by relevant authorities ensuring full compliance and readiness;
    • Increase disability awareness and progress in the workplace, aligning initiatives with DEI goals;
    • Collect and monitor company information, data, and documentation from various departments to support the completion of BBBEE verification;
    • Provide support for various HR projects and respond to HR related inquiries as required;
    • Track and report on DEI and BBBEE metrics, maintaining accurate data and report progress towards equity and diversity targets;
    • Gather and compile data for annual EE reports (EEA 2 & EEA 4), ensuring timely submission to the Department of Employment and Labour;
    • Manage and fulfil ad-hoc reporting;
    • Work closely with all external and internal stakeholders to establish strong relationships and ensure all issues are highlighted and addressed in a speedy
      manner;
    • Engage in active listening with stakeholders, integrating their insights and feedback into HR policies and programs.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or Equivalent (Essential);
    • National Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management (Essential);
    • 5 years’ experience in Employment Equity, Skills Development and BBBEE (Essential);
    • Knowledge and understanding of Human Resource Management practices and procedures and relevant legislation (BCEA, LRA, EEA, SDA, Codes of Good Practices);
    • Proficient use of the Microsoft Office suite;
    • Excellent in using Excel Strong focus on V-lookups and Pivot Tables;
    • Strong analytical skills with experience in data reporting and metrics;
    • Ability to ensure the confidentiality of company and employee information.
    • Strong planning and organisational skills;
    • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills at various levels;

    Senior Inventory Controller

    Description

    • Track daily inventory movements, including receiving, storing, and issuing of stock;
    • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with system records;
    • Identify and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and recorded quantities;
    • Update and maintain accurate inventory records in the system;
    • Reorder stock based on established minimum and maximum stock levels;
    • Ensure proper labelling and storage of stock in line with company procedures;
    • Coordinate with relevant teams to address any inventory issues or shortages;
    • Support junior team members and assisting with training as needed;
    • Pull any defective or expired stock for scrapping;
    • Implement loss prevention programs;
    • Perform quality checks on stored inventory and discard inventory that does not meet the company's standards;
    • Generate and capture picking reports for production and transfers;
    • Maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders in various departments.

    Senior Receiving Inspector

    Description

    • Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt;
    • Unload packages from incoming trucks;
    • Use dollies, forklifts, and other moving equipment to transport shipments from the loading dock;
    • Check the shipping invoice to ensure all items are accounted for;
    • Open boxes and inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged;
    • Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.);
    • Maintain accurate records and assist with inventory control; - Contact procurement or shipper if a mistake is identified;
    • Work closely with the management team and Quality Assurance to resolve any queries or uncertainties;
    • Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements;
    • Package products for return to vendors and complete any necessary paperwork;
    • Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place;
    • Ensure invoices are signed and paid for when deliveries were satisfactory;
    • Store, restock, and shelf delivery items as necessary;
    • Track and report on all received spares daily;
    • Work with internal stakeholders to resolve any problems;
    • Conduct daily stock checks on all items reflecting "received" on SAM;
    • Update stock on the SAM system;
    • Monitor tooling in the receiving area;
    • Ensure that the receiving area is clean and organized;
    • Process transfers for shipments moving on to another location;
    • Ensure all items are received correctly and were not damaged during the shipping process;
    • Communicate with other departments within the company to ensure that shipments are delivered on time;
    • Ensure the receiving area is audit ready at any given time.

    Requirements

    Safety Officer

    Description

    • Identify latent hazards and carry out risk management analyses of those hazards;
    • Investigate, analyse and identify root cause of all hazards of incidents and accidents;
    • Ensure the operator has adequate mitigation in place for identified safety risks;
    • Maintain the internal safety data system, to monitor and analyse trends in hazards, incidents and accidents;
    • Ensure continuous monitoring system that evaluates the results of corrective actions with respect to hazards, incidents and accidents;
    • Monitor the concerns of the civil aviation industry in respect of safety and their perceived effect on FlySafair;
    • Coordinate the organisation's aviation safety programme and all related safety matters;
    • Cooperate with the training department with regards to safety training of employees as and when required;
    • Investigate all incidents and accidents involving the organisation's assets;
    • Action and distribute all accident, incident and other safety reports;
    • Coordinate with the security personnel to ensure all aspects of the security programme is implemented;
    • Implement the organisational Emergency response plan Support the Quality Assurance Manager with compliance related audits;
    • Promulgate safety bulletins to all staff within the organisation;
    • Conduct meetings with all relevant personnel regarding safety matters;
    • Ensure that the safety equipment is in an operable state Conduct safety risk audits;
    • Assist the OSHE Officer in the administration of the OHSE programme;
    • Collaborate and build long-term relationships with key stakeholders (Internal and External);
    • Supervise external stakeholders with all matters relating to safety in and around Assets.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or equivalent;
    • Broad operational knowledge in the functions of the Airline;
    • Broad operational knowledge of the principles of flight and aircraft maintenance;
    • Knowledge of Safety;
    • Management Systems for Aviation;
    • Knowledge of planning, conducting and finalising an Audit;
    • Must have knowledge of relevant regulations and standards;
    • Understanding human factors in aviation;
    • Minimum of 2 years' experience involved in the management of an Aviation Safety programme;
