Duties and Responsibilities:
Academic Leadership, Management & Campus Support
- Overall leadership and management of the School on campus.
- Manage the interface with the Head of School.
- Plan resource allocation for the academic operations of all programmes within the School on campus.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Support
- Conducts daily checks on the IT infrastructure (LAN, WLAN, WAN, etc.) to monitor up time requirements and ensure that systems are running optimally.
- Installs new servers when required.

Student Registration and Academic Progression Counselling
- Facilitates consultations with students in cases where a change is required to their current registration contract, e.g. this could be for students who wish to change within a semester, between semesters or between years of study.

Credit Accumulation
- Assists with the capturing of students automatic credits on the academic system.
- Ensures that all data entries for the summative assessment calculation have been complied with.
- Ensures that the summative assessment outcome is correct and thereafter is responsible for the release of these results on the student portal.
Pre-assessment Process
- Maps students and lecturers to their appropriate class groups post registration.

- Verifies that all Integrated Curriculum Engagement (ICE) results are accurately captured by the lecturer in the SIS.
- Proactively applies early detection mechanisms to ensure that student queries relating to results discrepancies are minimal during peak assessment time.
- Tracks students who have achieved less than 50% and update on the relevant tracking document (student tracker) within the agreed upon timelines. Flag modules with high numbers of students scoring less than 50% relative to the class size.
- Escalate modules with a high percentage of marks below 50% and non-submissions to the Operations Co-Navigator and Academic Co-Navigator
- Support the assessment process and the Assessment Navigator by requesting Assessment Feedback Forms from the Academic Navigators and saving these in the designated space.

- Quality of notes and information saved in Excalibur.
- Reports and documents prepared and sent to CSCC/NSCC.
Competencies required:
- Knowledge of Full Function Credit Control.
- Knowledge of Accounts Receivables/Debit Orders /Bank Statements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external departments.
- Good Interpersonal skills/Customer Service driven.
- Analytical and Problem solving skills.
- Sound numerical skills.
- Best suited to a friendly, organised person who works accurately and is able to handle pressure.
- Honest, trustworthy and ethical.
- Time management skills.
- Ability to produce basic reports using Microsoft Office.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- Minimum of Matric, Credit Management / Bookkeeping /Financial qualification advantageous.
Minimum Work Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years credit control experience.
