    Gaming Manager

    Job Purpose

    • To support the overall management of the Gaming areas (Tables &  Slots) and participate in the development of strategy, operations policies, and procedures.

    Qualifications

    • Relevant diploma or degree will be an advantage.

    Minimum Requirements

    • 3 - 5 Years experience in a Managerial capacity in a Gaming environment will be preferred.

    Main Resposibilites

    • Design, develop and implement strategies for the abovementioned departments and re-evaluate effectiveness of operations strategies, and recommend refinements.
    • Ensure the budgeted operational profit margins; in all the Gaming departments are achieved.
    • Ensure the highest standards of Customer Service in the departments.
    • Ensure the most effective promotion of all aspect of the abovementioned departments in conjunction with Sales and Marketing, which support the resorts goals and objectives.
    • Ensure that all supplies are ordered and delivered against clearly defined specifications and according to the company’s BEE Procurement Policy.
    • Ensure effective communication between departments.
    • Ensure effective training, development and performance management of staff, in all areas in the abovementioned departments.
    • Co-ordinate the budgeting process for all areas in the abovementioned departments.
    • Ensure that all quality and customer standards are maintained.
    • Ensure that a preventative maintenance programme for all equipment is developed and maintained.

    Cashiering Supervisor

    Job Purpose

    • To supervise all cashiers' activities within the Cash desk and to ensure that the company assets are safeguarded and that all duties are performed to the highest level of efficiency and security in accordance with company policies and procedures

    Qualifications

    • Matric (with Mathematics)

    Minimum Requirements

    • 2 years Cash Desk experience, or equivalent supervisory experience.
    • Must understand the Companies Code of Conduct and its application
    • Knowledge or ability to operate counting equipment.

    Main Resposibilites

    • Administration in terms of departmental meetings, reports and credits
    • Provide excellent customer service to all incoming customers
    • Human Resources awareness to the department and support HR activities

    Gaming Security Officer

    Job Purpose

    • To ensure the protection of Gaming, Company assets, guests, and staff, in accordance with the Gauteng Gambling Board Rules and Regulations, and Company Policies and Procedures.

    Qualifications

    • Matric (Grade 12) essential.
    • Must have PSIRA – Grade C qualification (Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority) is a requirement.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Previous Gaming Security/Surveillance experience an added advantage.

    Main Resposibilites

    • To develop awareness of crime prevention, detection and observation.
    • Ensure maximum protection of company, staff and customer property.
    • Ensure that one has current knowledge of all in-house procedures and Gaming Board rules and regulations.
    • Ensure adherence to all in-house procedures and Gaming Board rules and regulations.
    • To attend to Clearances  in  an effective manner
    • To monitor and report any Breach of Procedures to Shift Supervisor.
    • Ensure that all soft count for searches, checks and verification of monies are carried out in a efficient and accurate manner
    • Ensure that the Jackpots are attended to as per the procedures.
    • Escort trolleys in the gaming area in a professional manner.
    • Timeously attend to disputes and incidents.

    Storeman

    Job Purpose

    • To ensure the physical and theoretical control of all stock items in the Warehouse.

    Qualifications

    Minimum:

    • Grade 12 or N3
    • A diploma in Cost Management would be an added advantage.

    Minimum Requirements

    • 1 to 2 Years Hospitality operational experience would be an added advantage.
    • Computer literacy in Searchlight Transaction Portal is a requirement.

    Main Resposibilites

    • Organization of the entire storage facility.
    • Responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy stores/warehouse environment at all times according to Food Consulting Services requirements for audit purposes.
    • Accurate par stock levels are maintained and stock transfer records are updated daily to maintain these par levels.
    • Goods received into the stores correspond to receiving documentation.
    • Responsible for issuing stock on a FIFO system.
    • Responsible for all stock rotation, and reporting on stock which is not moving, and reporting stock which has short expiry dates.
    • Responsible for issuing, picking and packing of stock for delivery to the user departments.
    • Responsible for conducting spot counts on a regular basis
    • Responsible for cyclical stock counts recurring every 10 days to ensure the integrity of the stock
    • Responsible for investigating variances and resolving all stock count disputes.
    • Responsible for all security and control of stock within the stores/warehouse
