    SQL DBA/ Administrator (66156)

    Job Description

    • Our client, a well-established and highly successful corporate commodity trading company, specializing in physical deliveries on an international basis, have an exciting permanent SQL ADMINISTRATOR / SQL DEVELOPER position available

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Administer Microsoft SQL Server database environments
    • T-SQL Scripting and development on both new and existing functions
    • Troubleshoot and resolve server, database and data issues
    • Security maintenance of server and database
    • Maintenance and monitoring of SQL environment 

    Role Focus:

    • Create new reports or dashboards based on supplied requirements

    Contracts Execution Administrator - Woodmead JHB (66951)

    Job Description

    • My client (International Trader and FMCG) based in Woodmead, Johannesburg, is seeking a Contracts Execution Administrator.

    JOB PURPOSE:

    • To conduct administrative tasks towards execution of all crush and oilseed purchase and sales contracts in order to ensure efficient flow of products, effective contracts execution, maintain customer satisfaction, sound stakeholder relations and document control.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:

    Execution of Sales Contracts/Orders

    • Track sales confirmations and ensure execution within contract delivery periods
    • Obtain quotations from transporters and arrange transport where necessary
    • Send notices to customer with details of dispatches
    • Ensure goods are made available to the customer for upliftment for "Free Carrier" (FCA) sales
    • Ensure goods are uplifted and delivered within customers' indicated timeframes and hold all logistics partners accountable for upliftment and deliveries in time for "Delivered at Place" (DAP) sales,
    • Liaise with crush planning constantly to ensure stock is available and released on time from the plant.
    • Monitor contract delivery periods and send contract status and open order reports on a regular basis the Traders.

    Logistics Coordination of all Crush Related Products

    • Plan, execute and administrate all contracts and physical stock pertaining to incoming and outgoing bulk soybean, soybean meal, crude degummed soybean oil/crude sunflower oil and soybean hulls/sunflower husks related to all crush activities
    • Monitor crush plans, supply agreements and current contracts for all products (in- and outbound).
    • Monitor balances on site/third party storage in accordance with the crush plan, contracts balances and factory constraints.
    • Plan all in- and outbound deliveries and receipts.
    • Coordinate and proactively monitor all vehicles on site/in truck park/on route and communicate with relevant stakeholders.
    • Ensure that all in- and outbound vehicles are booked and permit numbers are generated.
    • Address all loading/offloading issues and/or refer relevant issues to appropriate stakeholders for resolution.
    • Reconcile all contracts with suppliers/customers and administration team on a regular basis.
    • Create booking notes for outbound sales.
    • Manage stakeholder relations in an ethical and professional manner.

    Filing & Record-keeping

    • Capture data and maintain an updated spreadsheet of all activities conducted.
    • Maintain a dashboard that enables pro-active tracking and monitoring.
    • Maintain up to date and complete hard copy, and soft copy files.
    • Save all schedules and correspondence on SharePoint to ensure accessibility to all team members.
    • File all contracts and keep record of PO/contract on SharePoint.
    • Update and report on all movement sheets.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Qualifications

    • Diploma in International Trade/ Logistics / Supply Chain (NQF6/10)
    • Competence Certificate in INCO Terms is advantageous

    Experience

    • 3 Years' experience in contract execution
    • Logistics experience is advantageous
    • Working experience in SAP utilization

    • Consults with subordinates to identify workloads, budget requests, records maintenance, reports, and priority assignments. Communicates with superiors and develops work programs and budget estimates including the treatment plant short-term and long-term needs.
    • Works with staff on personnel matters and motivates employees to perform to the best of their abilities; evaluates employee job performance and initiates recognition and disciplinary procedures where appropriate.
    • Maintains inventory of the treatment plant materials and equipment and supervises the treatment plant preventive maintenance program.
    • Identifies needs and advocates for capital improvements to the wastewater treatment plants and associated facilities, as appropriate and necessary.
    • Performs related work as required.
    • Performs Emergency Response duties as assigned.
