    Junior Concierge: Facilities Management (6 Month Fixed-Term Contract)

    About the role:

    • We are looking for an experienced Concierge/Junior Facilities Coordinator to ensure continuity of front-office, communication, and facilities support services during and after the transition. The new office environment will require enhanced coordination across reception, helpdesk, access control, vendor management, and employee support as teams adapt to the new workspace, systems, and operating procedures.
    • To support this transition and maintain seamless operations, a Backup Helpdesk and Switchboard Support Function will be established. This function will operate as an extension of the main reception and facilities helpdesk, providing relief cover, managing overflow requests, and ensuring uninterrupted service delivery in line with the company's standards of professionalism, customer service, and operational excellence.

    What you will be doing:

    Catering Deliverables

    • Step in when the primary receptionist is unavailable (lunch, leave, training, breaks, meetings).
    • Answer and transfer internal and external calls professionally in line with the company brand standards.
    • Welcome visitors, ensure they are registered, issued access cards, and directed appropriately.
    • Maintain a professional and hospitable front-desk environment.

    Helpdesk Support (Backup Function)

    • Log all incoming facilities-related requests on the Helpdesk System (front office, cleaning, access control, maintenance, etc.).
    • Monitor outstanding tickets and follow up with relevant internal teams or service providers.
    • Assist in resolving minor issues and escalate critical or unresolved ones to the primary team or Soft Services Manager.

    Continuity of Operation

    • Ensure consistent service delivery during planned/unplanned absences of the main receptionist/helpdesk personnel.
    • Maintain alignment with all company's standard operating procedures, communication protocols, visitor management processes, and security guidelines.
    • Ensure seamless handover between primary and backup roles (handover log/book, outstanding tasks, visitor lists, access requests).

    Legal Advisor

    About the role:

    • To provide integrated legal advisory services. The role serves as the primary legal point of contact for all legal matters across the business, including commercial, employment and regulatory matters, ensuring legal compliance and the protection of company interests across CBRE Excellerate’s portfolio throughout Africa and the Middle East.
    • This role shall also support the Procurement department on supplier contracts.

    What you will be doing:

    Operational Deliverables

    • Client Agreement Management
    • End to end contract management for all client agreements (enterprise and local) across CBRE Excellerate business portfolios including:
    • Facilities Management agreements;
    • Advisory and Transactions client agreements;
    • Capital Markets service agreements;
    • Project management agreements;
    • Property Management client contracts;
    • Data Center Services agreements; and
    • Any other existing and future Portfolio client agreements within CBRE Excellerate, which relates to clients
    • Negotiate, draft and/or review all client agreements which may include Master Service
    • Agreements (MSAs), Local Country Agreements, employee transfer agreements, data transfer agreements, confidentiality agreements and associated documentation.
    • Attend the negotiation meetings for client agreements as may be required.
    • Respond to legal queries from clients and internal stakeholders related to legal matters.
    • Provide legal advisory services on all aspects of client agreements.
    • Address initial legal queries and interpretations as they arise across the business.
    • Ensure all client agreements and related legal documentation align with business objectives and service delivery requirements.
    • Escalate any identified contractual risks in line with the approved Delegation of Authority.

    Supplier Agreement Support

    • Support the Procurement department with negotiation of legal terms on all supplier
    • agreements and related supplier legal documentation.
    • Review legal terms and conditions on the vendor portal.
    • Draft and review supplier agreement templates and frameworks.
    • Support the Procurement teams in reviewing and advising on legal terms within supplier contracts.

    Legal Advisory & Compliance

    • Provide legal advice and guidance to all business portfolios.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations across all business portfolios.
    • Monitor regulatory changes affecting the business and its service delivery obligations.
    • Address legal interpretations and provide advisory on disputes and legal matters as they arise across the business.
    • Handle breach notices and formal communications as required across all business portfolios.
    • Support the business in audit-related matters, including the preparation and review of legal documentation required for internal and external audits.
    • Prepare and issue formal legal opinions on matters arising from business operations and regulatory obligations as may be required by the business.
    • Support various departments across the business with legal queries, risk identification and compliance matters as may arise from time to time.
    • Liaise with external legal counsel on matters requiring specialist legal advice, managing the instruction process and ensuring alignment with business objectives and requirements.

    Process Optimisation & Efficiency

    • Streamline legal review and advisory processes to reduce turnaround times and eliminate bottlenecks.
    • Implement standardised legal and contract management procedures across all business portfolios, including support on Agiloft and any other related systems.
    • Maintain accurate legal documentation across all matters.
    • Track and report on the life-cycle of all legal matters and contracts in the contract management system.
    • Continuously improve legal and contract management processes and template frameworks.

    Stakeholder Management

    • Serve as primary legal point of contact for all legal matters across business portfolios and
    • facilitate timely and effective legal support.
    • Collaborate with procurement teams on supplier agreement negotiations and reviews.
    • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders regarding legal queries and
    • matters.

    What you will bring:

    • LLB degree (Bachelor of Laws).
    • Admitted Attorney with a minimum of 7 years post-admission experience, of which 4 years should be in the corporate sector.
    • Strong experience in corporate/commercial law and contract management.
    • Demonstrated commercial legal drafting and negotiation skills.

    Preferred Requirements:

    • Previous experience in contract management across multiple business portfolios or service lines.
    • Experience with facilities management, advisory services, or professional services agreements.
    • Background in MSA negotiations and multi-jurisdictional agreement management.
    • Understanding of international contract standards.
    • Experience with supplier agreement negotiations and procurement support

    Compliance Officer (Security)

    About the role 

    • The role is responsible for the effective day-to-day management of site-based security operations, ensuring contractual compliance, disciplined manpower management, proactive risk mitigation, and high-quality client service delivery in line with Excellerate Services Group standards, client SLAs, and all relevant statutory requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for supervising security officers on site and ensuring all posts are manned according to the roster and post instructions.
    • Reports any shortages, late arrivals, or deployment issues immediately to the Key Accounts Manager.
    • Responsible for monitoring attendance, timekeeping, and conduct of security officers on site in line with the Company Code of Conduct.
    • Escalates disciplinary issues and supports investigations as instructed by management.
    • Responsible for coordinating the immediate site response to incidents and ensuring incidents are logged accurately in the occurrence book.
    • Escalates incidents and submits reports to management within required timeframes.
    • Responsible for ensuring that any workplace injury, accident, or health and safety incident is reported immediately to management in line with company procedures.
    • Responsible for day-to-day communication with the client regarding site issues and operational matters.
    • Refers complaints, service concerns, and requests for changes to management for action.
    • Responsible for checking access control registers daily to ensure entries are completed correctly and legibly.
    • Reports irregularities and submits exception information to management.
    • Responsible for checking that issued equipment and uniforms are worn correctly and are serviceable on site.
    • Reports equipment shortages, defects, or losses to management for corrective action
    • Responsible for conducting after-hours site visits, standby duties, and responding to urgent operational calls when required.
    • Attends meetings or provides telephonic support on rest days for urgent site matters only, as directed by management.

    Qualifications:

    • Matric (Grade 12) – essential
    • PSIRA registration (minimum Grade C; Grade B advantageous depending on site)

    Experience:

    • Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in the security industry, including at least 1–2 years in a site supervisory or acting site manager role

    Knowledge:

    • Basic knowledge of security operations, post instructions, and access control procedures
    • Working knowledge of company SOPs and client site requirements
    • Basic understanding of Health & Safety procedures and incident reporting
    • Computer literacy with working knowledge of MS Word and basic Excel
    • Ability to complete reports and maintain site documentation

    Competencies:

    • Good verbal and written communication skills (English; additional local language advantageous)
    • Basic people supervision and staff coordination skills
    • Ability to follow instructions and escalate matters appropriately
    • Good reporting and record-keeping ability
    • Strong sense of discipline, integrity, and professionalism
