Job description

As part of our Supply Chain & Operations (SC&O) Management Consulting Team you will be part of a team of talented and ambitious professionals that will work on developing the next generation of procurement and supply chain solutions for our clients. You will work closely with our clients on consulting engagements ranging from supply chain operating model design, strategic sourcing, cost savings, operations transformation and dynamic value creation initiatives. There will be a focus on applying proven as well as new digital solutions with cost modelling, process design, sourcing & procurement, network design and logistics expertise.

We are increasingly focused in our SC&O business on building innovative partnerships, both internally and externally, to co-create and scale new solutions in the digital era. These partners include academic institutions, start-ups, 3rd party specialist / niche firms in specific supply chain areas. As a consequence, you will need to be adaptable, forward-looking and focus on collaborative relationship building.

Moreover, you must be ambitious and committed to develop yourself and are able to train and develop more junior team members to produce a strong and growing Supply Chain & Operations team. Stewardship within our business is a core value we want to continue to strengthen.

Your Experience

Functional experience in several, but not all, supply chain capability areas, including:

• supply chain operating models
• strategic sourcing
• contract management
• procurement operations
• supplier relationship management
• transportation management
• order management and warehousing
• continuous process improvement
• supply chain digital technologies (cloud, analytics, mobile, ERP, modelling)
• business process management
• network design
• Successfully worked on multiple complex project
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills with good financial acumen.
• Develop solutions and inspire, influence and encourage decision-making
• Entrepreneurial spirit: high level of initiative to identify opportunities, to try new things
• Highly motivated, passionate and eager to succeed
• Understand digital solutions within a supply chain context

Qualifications

• An undergraduate university degree is a minimum requirement. Specialisation in engineering, logistics management, data science or business science is preferred but not mandatory.
• Postgraduate qualification : MBA preferred / highly recommended but not mandatory Minimum 3 years work experience within procurement, supply chain, or business operations Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills :Fluent in English language, both written and verbal
• Consulting experience preferred / highly recommended but not mandatory
• Demonstrated experience and ability to work in a high-pace, team-oriented, outcome-focused organization
• Knowledge of established and emerging supply chain digital technologies will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of trends and technology concepts through practical experience or via a keen interest in the latest innovation and thought leadership (e.g. Mobility, Cloud, Digital, Collaboration) will be an added advantage
