Job description

This position is responsible for developing product-based solutions and supporting software for enterprise-wide product implementation projects. This position requires the ability to implement and integrate Akana’s Portfolio Manager, Lifecycle Manager, Policy Manager, Community Manager and Service Manager products.

Minimum Requirements:

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

MUST HAVE AKANA EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience implementing enterprise software products
• Previous experience developing or implementing SOA and/or API-based solutions
• Broad understanding of enterprise deployment and implementation issues within a technology solution
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Extensive experience using Java (J2EE), XML and/or database development on two or more computing platforms

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

• 3+ years systems integration experience
• 5+ years of software development experience
• Security: LDAP, Security Architecture
• Product Development experience

DESIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Java/JEE, Web services (SOAP and REST), XML, .NET
• Oracle, DB2, SQL Server databases
• Linux and Windows operating systems
• Oracle WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, Apache Tomcat, JBoss
• CA SiteMinder, Tivoli AM, OIM security platforms

EDUCATION:

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics.

Job Specification

PURPOSE:

This position is responsible for developing product-based solutions and supporting software for enterprise-wide product implementation projects. This position requires the ability to implement and integrate Akana’s Portfolio Manager, Lifecycle Manager, Policy Manager, Community Manager and Service Manager products as well as design, develop, test and document supporting software components used to extend and integrate with the Akana governance automation suite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform Portfolio Manager, Lifecycle Manager, Policy Manager, Community Manager and/or Service Manager implementations
• Technical support and maintenance
• Implement specific software extensions and integrations to products as needed
• Assist in delivering customer product training and providing customer support
• Design and develop Service Oriented Architecture governance solutions
• Develop detailed functional and design specifications based on business specifications / requirements
• Provide detailed documentation as required
