Job description

Experience:

• A minimum of 10 to 15 years’ experience as a Senior Analyst Developer with the majority of the time using COBOL
• Advanced experience in COBOL
• Advanced experience in CICS
• Advanced experience in DB2
• Sound understanding and experience in MQSeries, Z/OS, JCL
• Advanced knowledge of programming standards and codes of good practice
• Advanced knowledge of Analysis and Design
• Knowledge of Endevor and Xpeditor will be an added advantage

Qualifications/ Certification:

• Degree / Diploma in a relevant field
•  A relevant Business or Information Technology (IT)

Key deliverables:

• Support and maintenance of legacy systems
• Analysis, design and development of enhancements
• Analyse existing solution and recommend areas of improvement
• Documenting the existing solution in support of the SAMOS review
• Planning and managing enhancements
• Liaising with Project Managers, providing input into the project plans
• Liaising with Business Analysts, Users and other stakeholders as required
• Ensure quality of enhancements
