This is not a traditional sales job role. As Booksy’s Sales Associate, you will not only be responsible to acquire clients for Booksy from the Health and Beauty sector, but also to build the brand in Cape Town from the scratch. This job is not for you if you are looking for a comfort based regular 9 to 5 job role.

It is always tough to pinpoint an exact job description when it comes to a client facing role at a tech startup but if we could summarise it, it will be as follows:

Your primary goal is to ensure that the businesses you meet have 100% faith in the product. Needless to mention, this can only happen if you have 100% faith in the product. Our sale doesn't end when our clients pay for it, it only starts then. Hence, it is vital that the clients, after paying for the Booksy subscription, use it to the best possible extent.

This role also requires you to, if need be, manage the client's questions and concerns and assist them with post-sale services.

That being said, you will be managing your schedule on a daily basis and no two days will be the same. This role is vital for us and we are only looking for people who take sincere ownership of their work and are eager to learn as much as there is to offer. Rest assured, the rewards are worth the efforts.

Lastly, our office is based in Johannesburg and we are looking for a Cape Town personnel to assist us with a more hands on approach with our leads and clients there. That means you are in-charge of your own schedule without any immediate physical supervision or micromanagement. You should be self-motivated to do this.
