Financial Consultant at Outsourced CFO

Outsourced CFO is looking for a dynamic and driven Chartered Accountant to join our team as a Financial Consultant.

At commencement of employment, the candidate will be assisting with advisory services on a fundraising project partnered with a prominent investment bank in South Africa. The fundraising project will include performing funding readiness, gap assessments and risk assessments on SMEs selected for the project. The candidate will also assist with due diligence, financial modelling, company valuations as well as getting the project participating SMEs ready for investment opportunities through the project.

The candidate will also lead high level financial management engagements with Outsourced CFO clients. This will include using OCFO’s three-step process in order to deliver the most efficient, effective and sustainable service to our clients;

Rethink - Explore and analyse every element of an SMEs current financial situation to identify and focus on the best possible business practice.
Automate - Streamline SME business operations to unlock and enable growth in their business.
Scale - Work with SMEs to build and execute a visionary growth strategy to strategically scale up the company and achieve reputable business eminence.

Requirements for this position:

• Chartered Accountant qualification
• Excellent leadership skills
• Problem solving and negotiation skills
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and targets set
• Proficient in cloud accounting systems
• Strong writing skills
• Excellent Excel, Word, Outlook experience
• Minimum 2 years post articles experience

Salary: A market related salary will be offered for the position depending on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Working hours: 08h00 to 17h00

Head Office: Cape Town CBD, Western Cape

Permanent Contract - Subject to a three-month probation period.
