Key Performance Areas

• Domain Knowledge
• Extensive knowledge of Cloud technologies and implementations
• Knowledge of cloud vendor offerings and suitability for banking sector implementation i.t.o. security, scalability, systems / data migration, etc
• Solution Design and Build
• Rapidly understand the business issues and data challenges of client's organization and industry
• Perform stakeholder analysis, identify client requirements and propose architectural and high-level technical design
• Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution
• Develop functional specifications and architectural design specifications for client engagements
• Build out fit-for-purpose, scalable and sustainable Cloud infrastructure
• Testing
• Understand technical design specifications
• Check test plans for completeness
• Identify and document system deficiencies and recommend solutions
• Documentation
• Document architectural and high-level technical design
• Document the functional requirement specification (FRS)
• Archive documents in SharePoint
• Meetings and workshops
• Prepare and conduct meetings as required
• Present and motivate architectural designs to appropriate approval forums
• Attend reviews and planning sessions
• Project assistance
• Assist in enforcement of architectural design principles
• Assist in the management and documentation of scope
• Assist project manager with prioritization of tasks
• Hand over artefacts to project teams
• Consistently deliver high-quality services to clients and project teams
• Manage risks and issues, and escalate to the project / programme manager

• Provide knowledge transfer and guidance to architectural forums, peer architects / groups and project teams of architectural design principles and specifications

• Define and document the new Cloud architecture
• Build the tools and materials required for efficient adoption and usage
• Develop and provide training materials / documentation to technical teams
• Review work performed / designs specified and ensure conformance
