Head of New Business - Shareholder Services at VMAGROUP

Job description

Main Responsibilities:

• Proactive identification of new business leads and marketing of the company’s registry services.
• Proactively manage, build and sustain a quality pipeline of prospects.
• Build and maintain a good relationship with existing clients and service them as and when necessary, upselling when the opportunity arises.
• Oversee the management of the sales and operations teams and encourage an environment of high performance and accountability.
• Identify and report on business opportunities in target markets
• Take responsibility for new lead generation and new business networking
• Representing the business at conferences, trade fairs and networking events

Experience & Skills:

• Previous experience in investor relations/ capital markets/Company Secretarial/Legal Counsel/ Finance.
• Proven sales track record at senior level.
• Strong analytical and technical skills.
• Strong experience of client relationship management.
• Solid understanding of regulatory and listing requirements.
• Ability to influence and persuade
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong commercial and financial acumen
• Excellent networker
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably finance related). Formal financial qualification preferred.
