Main Purpose

Responsible for the commercial function, the role would translate the Group Commercial Strategy and support the Commercial agenda for subsidiary companies, including Marketing Services, Customer Experience, Transformation and Customer Operations to drive business growth and increase market share. Key Accountabilities And Decision Ownership

• Deliver revenue / revenue market share and consumer P&L
• Providing guidance, analysis and feedback on strategies
• Creating and sharing best practice
• Deliver the digital roadmap including taking the leadership in rolling out the smartphone strategy, digital content, key partnerships and Data
• Consulting on CVM, Loyalty programmes, Business Intelligence modes, Products and Pricing, Terminals and Roaming tariffs
• Represent Retail and act on behalf of operating companies to Vodafone
• Direct and coordinate commercial units maximize investment and increase efficiency
• Confer with board members and stakeholders to discuss issues, coordinate activities, or resolve
• Analyze commercial operations to evaluate performance in meeting objectives or to determine areas of potential cost reduction, program improvement, or policy change

Education And Experience

• Qualified with post graduate professional experience MSc or MBA (preferred)
• University Graduate or equivalent in an engineering or business discipline
• Seasoned business management experience with minimum of 5 year’s experience operating at Executive / Director level in a telecommunications related industry
• Solid track record of applying commercial judgement to achieve effective results
• In-depth knowledge of company business and market developments
• Extensive knowledge of the Telecom sector
• Extensive knowledge of the Internet sector
• Combines commercial breadth and technical depth to take a global perspective in the development and interpretation of corporate strategic plans
