Senior Avionics Engineer at Air-Tec Global

Air-Tec Global is seeking suitable candidates for the Avionics position, based in Bethlehem.

Duties and responsibilities:

• MCC Co-ordination on the beach fleet / new addition outside of the LET
• Track the daily defects on Beech fleet
• Assist in troubleshooting to the engineers in the field to clear defects timeously
• Confirm spares ordered are correct and approve before sign off by MCM (Maintenance Control Manager)
• Follow up on spares ordered and feedback to Base engineer on expected arrival
• Track and amend Min /Max list for Beech fleet as requirements change,with MCM
• Ensure good communication into the field to be aware of any maintenance needs.
• To ensure we know of part movements on aircraft in the field to assist in Due list reporting.
• Travel for A.O.G. purposes when required to line stations
• Ensure the bases for the beech fleet has correct and sufficient tooling to carry out their scope of work.
• Carry STBY phone on weekends and when required(on a rotational basis)
• QC the task cards that comes in from the field for correct use of chapter numbers and procedures used.
• Ensure that bases are prepped and ready during audits,Internal or external.
• Ensure that all audit findings are addressed in a timely manner.
• Head up schedule maintenance for Beech fleet in conjunction with Maintenance Planning:
• Ensure Work Packs are in order before and after scheduled maintenance
• Ensure tooling is in place to cover the work scope for the maintenance to be conducted.
• Ensure Test equipment are in place for work scope to be conducted.
• Manage the maintenance team at inspection to work to the deadlines
• Ensure all due items, spare and orders are in place and on base in time
• Travel for A.O.G. purposes when required to satellite stations
• Assist in the hanger on LET revisions, with installations, STC and MOP’s when time allows it.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 15 year experience on line, Shop and Contracts
• Required license W1 3 and X
• B1900 , B200 experience.bAt least 5 years experience and must be current.
• Have experience on STC & MOD’s installations
• Good communication skills
• Organisational skills
• Willing to travel and relocate to Bethlehem, Free State
