You need to have about 4 - 7 years' experience in networking technologies with a minimum of 3 years' in above capacity in a large MNC. Experience in managing and trouble shooting Cisco devices (Switches, Routers, Concentrators, Load balancers and Firewalls), developing and documenting DRP for mission critical devices as well as managing large projects related to Infrastructure are must haves for the position.
You need to be good at providing consultative, proactive and/or reactive support to Clients Data Centre Networking accounts, Firewall Support in Management Security using IPSEC, and using network monitoring tools to manage WAN infrastructure including Concord, NAM Modules, NetFlow, Cisco Works, HP Openview, What's Up Professional, or other Enterprise level monitoring tools.
You will rely on your in-depth knowledge in configuration of VOIP, IPLC and troubleshooting any issues related to that, and you ability to enrich experience with Wide Area Networks consisting of multiple remote sites across the country.
It is important that you have extensive knowledge of Frame Relay, EIGRP, Policy Based Routing, BGP, VTI Tunnels, HSRP, OC-12, OC-3, and DS3, as well as hands on experience with Networking Devices like Routers, Switches, Firewall from the manufacturers like Cisco, Nortel, Lucent etc. Lastly, you must be able to troubleshoot network performance issues.
