We have a position available for a Data Analyst/Business Intelligence specialist to join our Digital delivery team. This position is based in Tshwane but you will work with an international team. The successful candidate will have the aptitude and charisma to deliver insights to EXCO level.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Technical knowledge to analyse and interpret quantitative and qualitative data modelling concepts, identifying and analysing trends and patterns in complex data sets.
• Knowledge, understanding and experience in statistical analysis of data.
• Understanding of basic optimisation algorithms, linear programming, machine learning.
• Ability to collect and understand business analysis, reporting and data requirements.
• Understanding of Project Financial and Consultancy firms Metrics and Financials. Be able to present this in a clear meaningful manner.
• Pro-active approach to conduct data analysis on readily available data sources and presenting these results in a structured, clear and meaningful manner.
• Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimise statistical efficiency and data quality.
• Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
• Embrace a working environment that nurtures delivery best practices.
• Experience working within an agile environment.
• Assist report users with training and support.
• BEng (Industrial)/ BSC / BCOM degree in Computer Science / Data Science and Analytics / Applied Mathematics or an equivalent qualification.
• Working knowledge of Power BI or other similar Business Intelligence tools.
• Understanding of the DAX language.
• Experience in SAS and or other statistical analysis tools.
