You will be:
- Coordinating and integrating activities across multiple functional lines;
- Ensuring timely and effective communication with the project team and project stakeholders;
- Managing project dependencies and team and stakeholder relationships as it relates to the project;
- Providing strong planning and process skills to the team, and assuming accountability for the definition and execution of the project plans including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closing out of the project;
- Handling performance evaluation and project reporting;
- Facilitating communications between the project team and stakeholders to prevent issues, rectify issues, manage risk and support delivery of the project objectives; and,
- Managing stakeholder expectations.
- Your outcomes will be project initiation, project planning, monitoring and controlling of project execution and project close.
Requirements
- It is essential that you have POS Implementation experience, strong experience in Projects and Project deliverables, and detailed practical knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques with in-depth knowledge of the MPBoK methodology, coupled with an ICT background particularly in ICT infrastructure projects or development projects.
- Good knowledge of retail and financial business environments will serve you well in this role, and it will be advantageous if you have retail experience, knowledge of Agile and ASAP methodologies as well as knowledge of SAP implementations, specifically related to master data (highly advantageous).
