Equity Analyst at VAT IT

Job description

The Investment arm of VAT IT is looking for an Equity Analyst. This position involves much research and writing of reports based on stocks on the London Stock Exchange. The individual needs to be passionate about the stock market both locally and internationally. There is also an option of relocating to the UK.

Job Description:

• Analysing both buy-side and sell-side securities
• Using computer programs and tools including Word, Excel, Bloomberg, the Internet, and Reuters
• Collaborating with the CEO on information sharing and insights
• Being knowledgeable about a wide range of companies
• Maintaining a large list of independent sources/contacts for information
• Responding to breaking news developments on companies within one’s sector

Qualifications and Experience

• Excellent High School and University Results
• Newly Qualified CA or with 1-2 years’ experience
• Good command of English Language
• Driven, Motivated and Hardworking
• Excellent Communication skills – both written and verbal
