Job Purpose

Do you take pleasure in creating small change for the upliftment of our health system? We are looking for a Health Systems Strengthening Manager to build, manage and maintain collaborative relationships with the Department of Health at District level to ensure projects are implemented successfully according to district priorities. You will need to manage a BRHC District team to ensure that interventions translate to measurable improvement in District performance and accountability for managing team, budget, and to reach 90-90-90 project district targets. This position is based in King Cetshwayo District.

You will

• Lead, coach and develop employees
• Manage inter-project dependencies within the district
• Implement and manage internal work plan
• Produce reports on BRHC project progress in district
• Establish and utilize communication channels to DoH District Manager and District Management Team, to ensure they are fully informed of BRHC’s capability, activities and support
• Manage relations with Government officials at District level in accordance with PEPFAR mandate
• Influence stakeholders on key focus areas and priorities as required to meet targets

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare or management is essential
• Minimum of 3-5 years management experience at a senior level within relevant healthcare environment
